Sterling adjusted his tie and entered the boardroom. “Hello, ladies and gentlemen. It’s great to see everyone,” said Sterling in an enthusiastic voice.
“Great to see you too, Sterling,” said one board member.
“I wanted to update you on some progress that we’ve been making at Homestead Correctional Facility. CUC has been doing a wonderful job. We’ve cut our expenses by half, which has enabled us to increase our profits. Let me show you a few graphs with some important data points,” said Sterling as he turned on the overhead projectors and started to click through his PowerPoint presentation.
