The moon was low in the sky above Moonlight Grove, and its light passed through the thick branches like cold hands gently touching the ground. I sat down on the wet ground, with my legs crossed and closed my eyes. I thought that being quiet would help me calm down and find peace. However, the silence dragged me further and further into the darkest parts of my thoughts.
