Chapter 3: I finally got this fucker

I took them from the coffee shop. The strange thing is, is that Agápi had been raised a human but wasn't even phased. Maybe Monókeros had told her? No, he knows how to keep his mouth shut. Had the Guards gotten to her? I had to check. "Before we continue, I need to check something." I cautioned, and turned around "Agápi what are you?" "What do you mean? Like, what's my gender? Or what?" She joked. "No, I know that, you are bigender and use she/him pronouns. I want to know your species," I questioned "Like are you human or? If not, are you a Guardian Of The Mislead?" "Wha-Firstly, how do you know that? And secondly, I am human? What else am I supposed to say? Like, I aM a f*****g fOx? What?" Agápi snickered at me. "Nevermind," Monókeros glared at me, "He's talking about spirituality stuff, his sibling is into that," We kept walking, for a while in silence, but then Monókeros started talking about a test and finals? I will never understand humans, they are weird, a whole hierarchy, one person watching over millions of people. People not being able to do what they want. Having no idea of how to survive by themselves, not being smart enough to learn how to travel, how to make machines, they can't do anything by themselves, they need someone to teach them. We just learn by doing. But I guess we are a superior human race. We do have a so-called 'government' but they only take action for major things like the Guardians Of The Mislead. Down here on earth they hate each other for things they can't control, like the colour of skin, age, disabilities, sexuality, etc. I never have and never will understand why people hate difference, I understand hating change but never difference, it's what makes us unique and makes life fun and interesting. The difference between us is what makes a story, it's what makes a painting, it's what makes art, difference is what makes life worth living. As we came up the hill my ship came into view. It was 10 feet tall and quite wide, it was painted a metallic grey just like my eyes. I mean, I do need my space. There were circular windows all the way around, all the same size, all one-sided, only able to see through one side. You can never be too careful about who's watching you, who's waiting to steal your invention plans, who's waiting to see you fail. "Alright, you made the ship, it's impressive, can we go inside now?" Monókeros interrupted me. "Alright you little queiry, go in," I told him, smirking because his impatience would be his downfall. He decided to go and test his luck and I put my hands behind my back and pressed the button on my watch which activated the harmless traps and he stepped inside. PHEW, NEMN, TRUT, SLISH! Trick arrows bounced around, and green goo shot out the walls. "Really? Slick goo? Trick shots? I only have a life or two left!" Monókeros snapped at me, as he dangled upside down. "What? A life or two?! How many lives do you have?" Agápi shrieked, stepping forward, narrowly missing a gunshot. "What queiry shot that!" I screamed, turning in the direction it came from but not seeing anyone or anything, "We should go, we have wasted enough time," "I just got shot at, and you say 'we should go, we've wasted enough time'" She mimicked me, waving her arms in the air. "I would prefer it if you did not make fun of me," I said, checking my watch, "We genuinely need to go, I do not care about that shot, it did not hit you, it is nothing to worry about, my sibling actually has been kidn*pped and is in a lot of danger. They have RedGrave." "Sorry to interrupt this lovely conversation but I think we should go, whoever shot probably has more magazines, and considering how much that shot wavered and how long they are delaying this second shot, they probably have something interfering with their sight, so we should go now." Monókeros assessed, still held up by the rope, "And could someone please help me down," "Yeah, sorry, yeah, okay, I get a bit angry when I don't understand things, I'm sorry," Agápi apologized, untying Monókeros. "No, it is not your fault, I should have explained, you've been raised as a human for all of your life and suddenly I appear and go-" I started. "Fun, stop apologizing, it doesn't mean anything, get in the ship and let's leave this wasteland, I've spent too much time here and there's a person trying to kill us, we need to leave." Monókeros told us, wiping his hands on the leg of his patchwork overalls. "Sure, you're explaining to him about," I gestured around us, "All this," "No problem, but I get a chocy vodka," Monókeros said pointing at me "No promises,"
