Chapter 2: s**t happens

As Agápi was marking my answers I finished my muffin and got so anxious that I started eating the paper and I was staring, waiting for my answers when I felt a tap on my shoulder and heard someone whisper, “Shhh, don’t turn around, it's just me. I need your help,” “Who are you?” I whispered out of the corner of my mouth, so as not to look suspicious and kept my eyes on Agápi who was still marking. “It’s me, Moró, you idiot.” He said, smacking my head. “What do you need? And where is Exypnos? They are always with you,” “That’s what I need help with you daft dimbo. They’ve been kidn*pped, I swear you are like the dumbest person I ever met,” He hissed at me, sighing. “Why would-How could, Why would someone kidnap them of all people?” I said confused as Moró was one of the smartest people I knew. “I-How am I supposed to know? Just grab your friend and let’s get out of here!” He hissed, still whispering and thank Canes Venatici no one had bumped into him. “Alright Monó, you really need to learn not to write things like ‘I am going to fail’ or ‘Just kill me now’ for many reasons. One being it’ll get you marked down on a test and two being it might just happen,’ Agápi said sliding the paper along to me, ‘Overall you got a good score and I have a feeling you didn’t exactly use the revision cards I gave you, but it doesn’t matter right now,’ She got up and picked up her bag. Her bag was a red velvet one with her favorite quotes embroidered into it. It sort of went well with her red and black flannel, jeans, black t-shirt, and doc martens. “Hey! Agápi, I need you to come with me, please.” I said. “What do you need?” She asked. “Just, just come with me ok? My friend is in trouble.” I told her annoyed. “Since when do you have friends apart from me? And of course! If someone is in trouble of course I’ll help! You think I’m Misó?” “Are you done? And if not can I get you anything else?” A waiter asked us as Agápi sat back down. “No,” She told them, “We are just finishing up!” “Oi, my sister! Get your friend and let's go!” Moró hissed, smacking me again. “OW!” I grunted rubbing the back of my head where Moró smacked me. “Wha? Nothing hit your head? Wait, what the hell is that?” she said pointing at where Moró was standing. “Fine, You caught me. I am Moró, I am Monókeros’ friend and I need your help because my sibling Exypnos was kidnapped.” Moró said, taking off his invisibility device. Moró was a short boy. He had raven black hair that looked almost dark purple when the light shined on it. It was always slicked back because it kept getting in his way and in his machines. His soft eyes were a metallic grey and wore glasses that were circles as he thought that square glasses would mess up his vision. He was wearing a purple space invader shirt and camo trousers with a leather belt, he obviously picked it out himself as he has no fashion sense. Out of Moró, Exypnos, Agápi and me, I definitely have the best sense of style. “Okayyyy, you probably shouldn’t have done that in the middle of a public coffee shop,” Agápi commented, not looking confused, or even scared, just worried about him and Exypnos. “It’s practically empty,” I told her, “You wanna sit down orrrr?” “Let’s go, we need to get going as soon as possible, the race for the cumberlance just got personal.” Moró told us, getting up.
