I gathered all the materials for the group activity we’d be doing later. Once everything was set, I made my way to the kitchen to check on Rita and Maria. The delicious smell of food wafted through the air, making my stomach rumble. I saw them busily preparing snacks for my guests. I grabbed a plate and piled it high with warm churros, then filled a pitcher with juice. "I thought your semester had ended already, Zee?" Rita asked, deftly slicing vegetables like a pro chef as she prepared everything. "Yes, it is! But obviously, our professors decided to send us a parting gift: a final group project due on the next day!" I replied, feigning a dramatic gasp. Rita raised an eyebrow, grinning. "So, basically, they’re saying, ‘Congratulations on surviving! Here’s some homework to celebrate!’"
