I looked around the space. I was searching for the speakers. His voice seemed to bounce off every wall.It made it impossible for me to pinpoint his exact location.
"I can't believe you actually showed up," he continued. "Did you really think you had a choice? Now that you're here, Ryder, let me make one thing clear—you are never leaving this place alive."
I exhaled. "If you’re so confident, Reginald, then stop hiding behind your pathetic speakers and come out like a man. Or are you going to keep playing coward?" I dared him.
