The Mafia Kings Angel

 Charlotte's POV: It was just an ordinary Sunday evening for me. i would come home from work, lay on the couch with a bowl of ramen and binge watch some of my favorite shows.  This particular night, i decided to watch all of friends season one. nothing was out of the ordinary. Is what i thought. Ryder's POV: For years I have been trying to get the crystal amulet that was stolen from my family many years ago.  Ever since my father past away all i could think of was his last words. he made me swear that I would do everything in my power to get the amulet back.  Before his dying breath I swore and held onto his hand for dear life. After his death I was never an emotional guy. Now that I was leader of the world's most powerful mafia group, I to show that I had no fears. deep down I knew I would die trying to get this amulet back.  The person who stole it from us best hope they had a good reason from doing so. All of a sudden I hear a knock at the door. "Come in." I say "Boss I have great news." Leo says.  Leo is my right hand man. Not only is he the second in command to me but he is one of my closest friends. We have known each other ever since I could walk. I trust him with my life. "What is it, can't you see i'm busy working here?" I exclaim slightly annoyed that he has interrupted me during a important call. "Bro so you know the amulet we have been searching for for years. Our resources on the outskirts of town have just informed us that they have seen a girl wearing an amulet necklace that looks exactly like the one from your family." "WHAT. WHERE IS IT? WHO IS IT? TELL ME NOW!" i shout not realizing i'm standing out of my chair. Leo look at me and says "Chill dude, it's this girl named Charlotte Banks. We spotted her entering one of the buildings on the edge of the town." Without hesitation i pick up my HT (walkie talkie) and shout down the line. "Ray" Ray is my head of my resources. He has been working for us for about three years but is quite good at his job. He's the person who can tell us where, who, how and why things are the way they are. "I need you to find out everything you can about this Charlotte Banks girl." "On it boss!" Ray responds. "Leo i need you to arrange full surveillance on Charlotte. We need to know what she does and where. Now go, i need to be alone." I say sitting back down in my chair. As soon as Leo leaves i let out a big sigh. I start trying to process what has just happened.  For years we have been searching for the amulet, and to know that this time next week the amulet will be in my hands makes me want to jump for joy. I don't though because i'm not a kid anymore, but if I was I would. The only thing i'm wondering, is about the girl. Why does she have the amulet and how is she linked to it? She best hope she doesn't have anything to do with it otherwise she isn't going to like what i will do. Charlotte's POV: It was around 12:30 pm and I just started to feel tired. I didn't want to be late for university tomorrow so I decided I would go to sleep.  As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out cold. The next day went by in a flash. Nothing special happened. unless you count spilling juice all over your shirt special.  I had a free period after my 5th lesson so I decided to use it to go freshen up in my apartment. I couldn't afford student dorms so I had to rent this place out on the edge of town. the places were a bit sketchy there but i didn't mind.  I new how to take care of my self from a very young age so I new I could handle it. I got home, took a shower and freshened up a bit before work. Suddenly the hairs on the back of my neck stuck up. It felt like someone was watching me. I brushed it off though.  But little did I know I was in for a big treat the next day. ____________________________ (AN) Hey guys. This is my first story so I hope you like it.
