The Trip Home
She hated being on this road heading back to a place she didn't want to go, a place that holds all her past secrets, heartaches, and pain. But it was time to face it all, to clean up the mess she tried to leave behind, cause it's now hurting her present making her future very unpredictable. It was a miracle she was able to go this long not being home, she loves her family but the pain of it all was unbearable. But she has to be here, her mom is sick and her oldest child was graduating from high school, she has to be here for it because she messed so much of his life growing up.
She just doesn't know how he's going to react to her being here, the last time he came out to see her, things didn't go well. He had a lot of questions about the past that she wasn't ready to face and some of his question opened up problems with her husband and daughters who are now asking question about her past. she knows she's going to lose it all when the truth comes out but she's tired of of living with all the lies.
Pulling up to her childhood home is bring tears to her eyes, remembering her dad, playing in the yard with her sister and her brother but with the good memories comes the bad, she tries to push gather herself and push the memories aside so she can get out the car. As she fix her makeup, Mrs.Sanders comes up to her car.
