The Heir to the greatest Power

Veric stared at himself in the mirror. Today was his wedding day. Veric had prepared everything. "It's been almost two hours. Why haven't I heard anything about Agezza arriving?" Veric asked himself with a worried look on his face. Veric tried to calm his mind. Agezza may be a little late. "Hopefully nothing has happened," Veric muttered. Veric decided to go out. "The auspicious time for the wedding will soon be over. Should I just go to Agezza's house to check on her?" Veric's wedding was indeed simple. Even his parents weren't present because they had more important duties. Of course, Veric didn't force them because if his parents neglected their duties as clan leaders, their lives would be at stake. "Agezza's house is quite far away. If only I had magical powers, I might have already arrived," Veric grumbled. "But it doesn't matter. I still have to go to Agezza's house. To make sure that nothing happens to Agezza," he continued. Veric walked enthusiastically towards Agezza's house. After travelling quite a distance, Veric finally arrived at Agezza's house. Veric knocked softly on Agezza's door, but no one answered. "Ahhh, dear, you're too eager. Don't rush, I'm all yours," she said in a spoiled voice. "No. Whose voice is that?" Veric asked himself. Veric then opened Agezza's door and stepped inside the house. "This is amazing, dear, so delicious. You are indeed the best," he said passionately. Veric's face looked angry when he heard the voice clearly. It was definitely Agezza's voice. "Agezza! Open the door. What are you doing inside? Are you betraying me?" Veric shouted while banging on Agezza's door. "Damn it! Who's disturbing my fun? I'll kill him," the man growled. "Honey, don't be angry. Let me take care of the intruder," said Agezza with a pleading look. "All right. I happen to have other business anyway. Don't forget that you belong to me and we're getting married soon," he said warningly. "Of course, my dear, I belong only to you." Before the man left, he kissed Agezza on the lips first. "Agezza. I know you're inside, who is that man?" asked Veric. Shortly after, Agezza came out of her room. Veric stared at Agezza's dishevelled appearance. And of course, he knew what Agezza had done. "What are you doing, Agezza? Are you betraying me? Today is our wedding day, Agezza!" shouted Veric. "Don't shout, Veric!" snapped Agezza. "Our wedding is canceled! I don't love you anymore," Agezza continued firmly. "You can't cancel our wedding. Who is that man?" said Veric, who intended to enter Agezza's room, but was immediately stopped by Agezza. "We can't be together! Our relationship must end. Besides, I don't love you," replied Agezza. "We're about to officially become husband and wife, why are you suddenly saying things like that? Don't be like this, Agezza, we still have to go through with our marriage," said Veric with a pleading look. Agezza pushed away Veric's hands, which were holding her hands. "Why can't you see reason, Veric! I'm thinking about my future. If I marry you, I will surely suffer. Don't force me to stay with you," snapped Agezza. "But I love you. I will definitely try to be strong, Agezza," replied Veric. "How long do I have to wait for you? Your magic level is lower than that of a servant. You have no power whatsoever!" said Agezza. "You can't leave me, Agezza. You promised to love me," said Veric. "This is my decision. Besides, my family doesn't approve either," said Agezza. "Didn't you say your parents agreed? I did what you wanted by finding the heart of a white goose with one eye," said Veric. "That's just an ordinary goose heart. Are you trying to deceive the Gorety family?" replied Agezza's father. "No! It's real. I'm not lying," said Veric. "You don't even have any magic, how could you possibly get it?" growled Agezza's father. "You'd better not bother Agezza anymore, she's already found a man who is far better than you," added Agezza's mother. "Agezza, I've always tried to be the best. Whatever you wanted, I always tried to do, but why did you betray me?" said Veric softly. "Oh my god, you're still asking? Are you on par with me? You don't have any power at all. Even the servants are better than you," said Agezza angrily. "Enough. You better leave my house," she said as she pulled Veric's hand to get him out. Veric fell due to a strong push from Agezza's father. When Veric tried to get up, Agezza hit him with her magic. Veric coughed until he vomited blood, and seeing this, Agezza and his family laughed. "I never thought that the person I considered the best and most loving would be the one to destroy me," Veric said to himself. "Who is that man?" Veric asked, looking at Agezza softly. "Of course he's not comparable to you. He's great and extraordinary," replied Agezza. "If you want to know, just come here tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm going to marry him," she continued. "Get out of here quickly! Before I change my mind and kill you," snapped Agezza's father. Veric tried to get up, trying to endure the pain. "Agezza, you will regret this," Veric muttered. After that, Veric chose to leave Agezza's house. "Honey, have you ever been involved with this lowly man? Why do you have such bad taste? This man is even lower than a servant of the witch clan," said Blow, looking down on Veric. Veric stopped in his tracks and looked at Blow. "No, dear, I've never had a relationship with this man. He's a liar! I just felt sorry for him," replied Agezza. "That's not true, Blow. This man just misunderstood and thought Agezza loved him, when in fact Agezza only gave him a little attention," said Agezza's mother. "No! I was engaged to Agezza. But because of you, she betrayed me!" Veric growled. "Is that true?" asked Blow, causing Agezza and her family to panic. "Here's the thing, if you and Agezza were engaged, I want to ask your parents directly," said Blow casually. "They're busy with important work," replied Veric. "Don't worry, I can easily call them to come here," he said with a smile. "And if it turns out you're Agezza's fiancé, I won't marry her," he continued, making Veric smile.
