Chapter 10 – Twisted Tea’s at the Mansion

1327 Words
“Can, can I have breakfast now?” Bella swallowed and smiled so big and fake that it showed her little front teeth. “Look, I am starving.” Charles cast her a cold glance without stopping his hands. His fingers moved softly and warmly from her shoulder to collarbone, at last, they halted on her elegant pale neck. Her neck was so slim that his palm could encircle it. “Are you afraid of me? Or are you comfortable with me? Eh?” She shivered while Charles’ dark blue eyes fixed on her face. Seeing this, his lips curled in a scornful smile. “Ah, me? No, I am not” Bella denied without hesitation. She was not afraid of him, but she was not comfortable with him either. “Aren’t you? Why are you shivering?” Charles was looking amusedly at her, she was trying to hold bread with a shaking hand, leaving crumbs on the table. “Ah? I, I just have …a stroke, eh, a…. Alzheimer…you know.” Bella put down the bread and placed her hands on her thighs, but they could not help shaking like falling leaves being blown by the autumn wind. Calm down, Bella, he is a psychopath, you were not even afraid of Len Sanders, not to mention this pathetic excuse of a “Lord.” In her eyes, Charles was just same as those spoiled brats who grew up in wealthy families like Martin Smith and Lynn Sanders, but he was more wicked than the latter. Charles stood up and bent over her from the back of her chair, his male pheromones flowed around her like a net. His warm breath tickled her shoulder as well as his wet tongue slid on her skin and moved downward. She felt numb by the touch and more frightened. Her pale face flushed instantly. “You have promised to give me time to think.” She said in a distressed tone. As from the angle that Charles was at he could see the secretive shape of her breasts under her slip dress, he could not resist opening his mouth to give her a nibble on her beautiful shoulder. The bite was so hard that it broke the skin and she started to bleed. As his tongue licked the bleeding and the sensitive skin around the wound. “Owww! that hurt!” Bella’s face turned pale again because of the pain. What was he doing, he bit her? And biting, drinking, licking...…how sick he is! But damn it, how come she felt excited? “Oh!” A moan escaped her lips. She covered her mouth with her hands instantly, it was unbelievable that she could make such a sound. At the same moment, Charles stood up straight, took a napkin which was handed to him by Roy and wiped his lips gracefully, then let out a snicker, saying, “You were enjoying that. Don’t try to deny it!” Throwing the napkin away, he forced her face toward him, compelling her to look into his eyes, they were full of irony, “Woman, don’t play games with me. If you agree to have my child, I will give you more pleasure.” He snickered, “You did enjoy yourself that night, didn’t you?” “Dress her wound.” He rose to his feet and gave out an order coldly. Then, he turned his back gracefully and left the room. Ziv followed him in a deferential manner, they were soon out of Bella’s sight. Bella’s fists rested tightly on her lap, her face red because of humiliation and anger. You rapist how dare you talk in such a way. “I must charge you, charge you for illegal detention, charge you with…” Rape, but the word held back in her mouth. “Don’t say that offensive remark, when our Lord is angered, you will suffer the consequence.” Roy, the steward, told her in his soft voice. “Take care of Miss Bella.” He told the maid who was next to him. ** Meanwhile, in the house of Sanders. Lynn was cutting her sausage resentfully, she thought of what she had seen on the beach yesterday made her heart was filled with envy. How could Bella be coupled with a charming man like Charles? Laura, Mrs. Sanders, while rubbing her freshly Botox-ed face, found her daughter was under the weather, “What’s going on, my dear, did you have a good time with Martin?” She was concerned with the attitude Martin may be having toward Bella. “Not a big deal, I saw Bella yesterday,” Lynn told her mother what she had seen on the beach and what might have happened between Bella and Charles. She concluded hatefully, “Bella must have done something sickly, which could have offended Charles.” She added while she looked at her father. “Father, we must give her a lesson. Though she doesn’t live with us, everyone knew our relationship with her, we might be blamed for her stupid behaviour one day.” She must be punished, and it would be the best that she would die without anyone noticing. “What did you say about, Bella and Charles?” Mrs. Sanders pressed her fingers on the corners of her eyes, they were wide, she asked, “Is that Lord Charles? Charles, King of the Sea? Are you sure?” “Yes, I am sure,” Lynn replied she had been infatuated by Charles’s noble disposition. “I read the magazines every day, of course, I know all about him. I am sure, I didn’t make a mistake.” There was no one else who could maintain an aristocratic and luxurious demeanour. Laura turned her eyes eagerly to Len, who seem to be in meditation, “Honey, did you hear that? King of the Sea, it is THE King of the Sea…My God, our dream will come true.” Mr. Sanders kept a calm mind and shook his head. “It won’t be easy, how is it possible for Bella to have anything to do with Lord Charles.” Lynn curled her mouth and said, “Who knows, how she could offend Charles.” Offend? Mr. Sanders was reminded that his secretary had told him sometime earlier, Bella was kidnapped. He came back from his absent mind quickly. “Where did you seen them?” “On the beach of the west district.” “That must be him, all right.” His face had turned red, feeling excited, and he smacked his own thighs and said. “What a good chance for me!” He turned to his wife, “Dear, have you checked where the King of the Sea lives? Now it is unnecessary to do a search. I heard that the land located beside the western beach had been sold to someone last year. And a mansion had been built on that land. It is obvious that the King of the Sea is living there.” Lynn nodded her head. “Yes, you are right, I heard that the building was named Williams’ Mansion.” Len rose from his chair at once, told his wife. “Let’s go, we must extend our apology to the King of the Sea.” Laura could not form a reaction to Len’s words. He laughed, “Ha, Ha…. Of course, it was our fault for not teaching our daughter to behave well, so Bella offended the King of the Sea. we must beg him to forgive us.” That was the best reason that they could have made to visit Williams’ Mansion, isn’t it?
