Off the cliff

The aroma of freshly baked pancakes filled the air as Zahira suddenly jerked up remembering that it was a school day, immediately she ran into the shower and dressed up to meet the all set breakfast table. "Good morning Zahira" said Farah, Zahira's mom "Good morning mom" Zahira replied "what's for breakfast?", "there's freshly baked pancakes on the menu my lady" Zahira's mom replied. Zahira smiled and requested for a plate while she ate Akhir,her father came over to the table for his meal after saying the good mornings to everyone. She stopped for a while from her food to admire her parents love and wondered what it would be like to not have a complete family ,shaking the thought off her head she inwardly thanked her stars for blessing her so abundantly. On her way to school,she met her friend Oliver.Oliver and her had been friends since primary school and they'd been very close, Oliver was of a single mother and he often admired Zahira's family. Zahira made sure to never let him feel the emptiness but it always ate him up on the inside. Away from all of that he was Zahira's closest friend and he was never going to do anything to cause her harm.
