Chapter 5Tim had just gotten off the L when his cell phone rang. He was on his way home after picking up his take-out order from a Thai place nearby. He frowned when he saw that Jake was calling. They hadn’t spoken since their argument more than a week ago. Tim had been tempted several times to send Jake a text to see how he was doing, but he’d resisted figuring Jake should contact him instead and apologize for being such a d**k. He’d also avoided contact because he feared Caleb had talked to his brother and the truth was out about what was really going on.
