After the doctor left, Rose allowed Dany to stay home with her father while she went back to the inn. Matt decided to lie down, to try an afternoon nap, so he could get some strength back. Dany was going to do some work on the computer, but she didn't know if she was in the right frame of mind for that. She much rather wanted to just lie down next to her father and hold him while he slept, more for her own sanity than for his. Ben had to go home to help hang the meat from the kill.
Luke thought he ought to leave. He needed to be away, to think. What happened scared the bejeebers out of him, and the cabin was still too charged. It muddled his thoughts even more.
