7 ENOUGH AND NO MORE After a long, cool shower I unfortunately can’t justify putting on my pajamas. There’s no way I want to face Thatcher too…comfortable. So, I settle for shorts and a clean T-shirt. The workout increased my hunger and I dig into the light dinner Charlene sent up with relish. At exactly 7, there comes a knock on the door and, naturally, Darcy leaps from his spot beside me on the couch and slinks into the bedroom. “Yes?” I start to get up, but the door opens, and I perch on the edge as Commander Thatcher comes in.
