I just can’t reconcile what I know about these people, Emma included, with what Jo says about fae. They aren’t proud, greedy, vengeful. Mr. O’Shea was always teaching kids the value of hard work and to take pride in even the most menial task. Those aren’t the actions of a power-hungry, cruel man.
If what Jo says is true, fae are violent, dangerous, and hate humans. But to be fair, that can be said of vampire, too. Maybe not all the ones that live here with Jo, but Travis sure was. And François, especially. According to what Jo’s told me, she herself used to be that way. It was stumbling upon Niall in her vengeful search for her father that changed Jo into the kind of vampire she is now. Niall taught her how to survive feeding from animals rather than risk getting caught feeding on people.
