They say dogs are a man’s best friend. As I stared at the dog curled at my feet, I figured it was true. It hadn’t left my side for a moment, except to scratch at the door - cue for wanting to go pee, which it did outside. Whatever this dog was, it was home trained. I wondered, not for the first time where it came from and what brought it to my doorstep. Alright, Maggi’s doorstep, but you get the general picture. I yawned and stretched.
