Over the next few days, I got to know more about Peter, or Pete, as he liked to be called. I found out he was down to earth and easy going to talk to. He would laugh at the silliest things, exactly like a child would, but just like every human being, he had a fault. He liked to laugh at me, or should I say he liked to laugh at my clothes. Funny enough, he didn’t do it deliberately, he just couldn’t help himself. He said my clothes were mostly old and worn, except for a few items which weren’t even that presentable to begin with. He was blunt, and I mostly appreciated it, but talking about the clothes on my back - that was a no-no. When he saw I didn’t find it funny, he stopped.
