The Night

Chapter three

Amber woke up with a sharp pain on the right side of her head followed by a heavy headache she slowly opened her eyes seeing a smiling face trying to make out who it was ,it was getting clearer until she was able to see her mum's face filled with happiness and worry at the same time ,she felt really sad for worrying her mum but she doesn't want to talk about what happened in the woods because if her mum should find out she won't be allowed into the woods ever again ,her mum always tells her stories of supernatural creatures and how their people were terrorize by vampires she has to stay away from them at all cost without even knowing the reason why , Amber never took any of those stories serious until what she saw last night in the woods ,she knows what she saw was not an ordinary wolf ,the size ,the scent is far from being ordinary .

Some few weeks after the incident from the woods Amber has fully recovered from her injury ,she continued her routine of going into the woods but this time for different reason going to that spot where she met the wolf, spending all day there with the luck to get a glimpse of the wolf she seem attracted to the wolf in a way she didn't understand. On this day she went to the wood as usual to spend her whole day ,during her stay there she slept off .

I heard people screaming from afar , I opened my eyes every where was pitch black it was already night time ,following the direction where the screams are coming from it was leading to my home I increased my pace running as fast as I could the sight I behold was gruesome,I nearly puked ,dead bodies everywhere in the mist of the chaos I saw my mum lying on the floor bleeding from her nose I rushed to her side ,thankfully she was still conscious she muttered something in a language I couldn't understand ,suddenly I felt a heavy force pushing me back into the woods and created some kind of barrier that couldn't let me through I watched the creature of the night I was always warned about eyes blood shot red with lightening speed as he elongated his nail and pierced it through my mum's chest plugged out her heart which was still beating on his hand till it gradually became still I screamed at the top of my voice getting the attention of the creature moving at a very high speed towards me I braced myself for the impact.
