Episode 10

Liza Pov It's been a few days now and I have been settling down well but things are just getting boring by the day. I know I've been a loner since my birth time and since they knew I was a weak rogue but not like this. I would still go out and watch the trees dance to the tone of the wind and I also moved around playing with butterflies and living a happy life, like I was a normal human being but now, all I just do is go out and eat then come back in. I know Asher has been trying as he would also bring novels for me to read and he would always make my day with silly jokes. I can say, we got along so well that without him, I wouldn't even show up at the dining. I preferred my food being brought up to my door and I would devour it alone without any eye staring deep into my soul. The way the maids took good care of me like I was someone important is bliss. They would always make out to reach me if I wasn't outside and it made me feel loved. I knew it was none other than Asher and his ways of doing things. It was a Saturday morning and everywhere was silent just like how it would always be. I was hoping there would be a miracle and everywhere would just blow up like a happy event but maybe I am just imagining because it would never happen. I'm sure of it. I stood up from my bed stretching my body. I was tired but I was home and inside this boring room every day. The door knocked lightly. With no care, I muttered some words. I knew it was none other than the maids calling out for the foods they served. But to my face, the door opened and there was Asher, standing outside the door with a smile on his face. "Looks like someone is bored. Your face says it all" He teased winking at me as he walked towards my bed. He sat on it with his hands in my hair. "I guess I am. All alone in this big room, reading and sleeping then eating just like a pig. Huh!" " Because you're in a bad condition. But you know what?" He asked his eyes not to leave mine. " What? And why are you staring at me like that.!" I questioned as I looked somewhere else. "We are going out today." He announced and my eyes widened, I sat upright with my eyes peering at him. " Really?" I was suddenly interested. "Where is that?" I asked eagerly. "To my friend's place, I would be very careful not to worry" he suggested with his hands up like a pinky swear. "Okay! I'm sure happy to leave this place today. I'm fed up!" I whined jumping up happily while he just smiled and watched my movement. "Get dressed and let me take you out to my friends. They have been craving to see your beautiful face darling."He winked at me and walked over closing the door behind me. " Thanks, Asher" I beamed running into the bathroom at full speed. I was more than happy. Happy was an understatement because if there were any other words except from happy, I would have used them. After getting dressed, I stepped out of the room with a different scent. This was the door I was going out and I had to look good. There was no other opportunity that would come and this one. I would be happy to grab it with my heart. I don't know if today might be the last day as always. I stepped graciously on the trails of the staircase and there he was, the prince charming. He's a charming prince ‘so everyone calls him.’ even if we don't have much in common. His hands were in his pocket with his slightly opened shirt. He had a common sense of fashion and I loved it. "Seems like someone is ready to give them this night" he teased me while I beamed. " Will you just stop and let us be on our journey? If I start admiring the gift you've got, we would end up getting late and the enjoyment would end." I held his hands and we both strode to the outside part of the mansion. Okay! I can't hide my excitement but I am so super excited. Like since when has it been? Since when have I stepped outside this mansion just to look at the perfect sunshine and the beautiful breeze? Everything felt good and my body can relate to the happiness I had in me. We got into the ready car and the driver drove on. I could sense Asher's eyes on me as time went on and it was giving me this type of thinking because we were the only one at the back and the car was divided into two parts. *** I entered the town and my eyes turned into a "Wow" The inside was so amazing that I couldn't even resist the smile that was on my face. So beautiful. Eyes fell on us as we got into the real room, it wasn't filled up with many people but I can say, the people in there knew Asher because a lot of attention was focused on us. “Don't mind them, ignore the stares. They usually get lost staring at new bikes in town.” Asher said to me, noticing how uncomfortable I felt with how they looked. I didn't realize when I clung to him and held his hand something as we walked. I could see through my side eyes how he smiled at what I did. I didn't feel shy or regret clinging to him that way because I have always been so shy. I felt really glad that he was by my side, someone to hold on to for the first time in my life. “How about introducing you to my friends?” He asked me with a wide smile on his face. “Er…” I stressed. “Don't shy away, they will love you,” Asher assured me. I was a bit skeptical but I tried to be courageous because he was by my side. We strolled further into the crowd and we played like kids all through.
