Detective Dickson 3 : Identify Crisis

d**k's deduction

Ron and Reg were breathing heavily, their silver fur was so much stained with blood that it looked like red was the actual colour, they were highly fatigued, other than the effects that the layer of the abyss that they were in(intense gravitational pull) and the fact that time passed much slower in the abyss, they had actually been there for six weeks but it would appear as a little over a day on earth because time was much faster there.

"Reg, I don't see how we are getting out of this, you have any last confession" Ron says as he slits the neck of a baphomeri, the body staggers backwards as it lands on the ground.

"Yeah, you like Kari, don't you?" Reg replies as he dodges a liquid substance shot out of the sting of a demon, he leaps towards the demon and reaps it's head off with his incredible werewolf strength.

Ron's face turned red

"What makes you say that, man, is it obvious?"

"Yeah, I have seen the way you look at her, I haven't seen you look at anyone else that way" Reg replies as he carries a skeletal demon, and rips it into two symmetrical parts.

"Yeah, can't be blamed, she's the smartest werewolf and she's also really pretty though I doubt she will ever want to settle down" Ron answers with a dejected face

"She has always been one for adventure and danger, I feel I will just hold her back."

Reg smiles as he faces Ron but there was a baphomeri right behind, it held a detached scorpion sting probably from one of the dead demons, it wanted to stab Ron.

"LOOOK OUTTTT!!" Reg shouted, before Ron could turn around, the baphomeri had already raised the sting, there was no time for Ron to react, was this the end for the vampire. An arrow flew true and scores a hit on the demon's forehead, it collapses to the ground lifeless.

"Are you ladies gonna sit around here and talk about crushes or will you act like men and finish this" Anna smiles cheekily as she picks another arrow from her quiver. Alucard was right beside her, he was smiling sheepishly.

Anna had used a strange elven spell while they were running towards here, it had summoned her quiver of arrows and a bow. That was an elite spell even for the elves, yet his daughter knew it, she clearly was his daughter.

"Yo, Anna, it's been a while" Ron smiles at her as he stands to his full height.

"Since you two are here, I am guessing Mari and Kari are here too" Reg smiles as he comes forward.

"Yeah they are here, she was worried that you guys were taking too long here, where's Katharina?" Alucard asks as he blitzes through an incoming horde, when he stopped, the whole horde that was approaching all drop dead to the ground, there were fang marks on their neck.

"Azexela and Shekindra were here, I fear Larias might have been resurrected" Ron replies as he buries his claws deep in the chest of a baphomeri, it staggers back, Anna reappear at his back, she cuts off the head clean with an elven sword which she had summoned.

"IMPOSSSIBLE" Alucard says aloud as his eyes turned red, an army of Baphomeri who were obviously hypnotized by the vampire were killing the other demons.

"Yes, we couldn't believe it ourselves, we thought we had gotten rid of them but we have more people to confront with now" Ron replies as he bits off the neck of a skeletal demon.

"Okay, I get it, more bad guys to kill, do you know where they are now" Anna asks as she crouches, shooting arrows with her bows and scoring hits on twelve demons at a goal.

"No, we don't, the abyss is a vast place, they could be anywhere by now" Reg replies, he had a dejected expression, he smashed another skeletal creature to the ground.

"Well, that isn't very helpful, Dad told me of Azexela and Shekindra but who's this Larias" Anna asks as her sword appears in her right arm, she slits off some approaching baphomeri demons who were approaching.

"Larias, he's the god Shekindra was trying to resurrect, if half the tales about him was true, there's no stopping him" Alucard says as he stands high, lifting his head above, his face wore fear.

"Come on Dad, I am sure we can beat him, you also said Shekindra was impossible to beat till a mortal came along" Anna says with a cheeky smile.

"That reminds me" Ron says as he now faces Dracula.

"Where is d**k?"

Dick held Daniel and Sarah, he was in Femto-mode, they both appeared to be frozen, when he had seen Shekindra and Azexela, he knew whosoever was in the middle was undoubtedly Larias, he had heard about him and truth be told, fighting him with someone who could manipulate reality and another who had a grudge against him seemed impossible to win not neglecting Marcel who was on the ground too.

He had scratched his head the first time as a signal to tell Daniel and Sarah to get ready, that he was gonna escape now, since he didn't know anything about this realm yet, he couldn't teleport and he couldn't leave as he still had to find his friends, without many options. When Shekindra had ran to attack him, that was the perfect window, Lefinna had thought him a technique, it was called the after image dud, vibrating your body at a frequency twenty seven thousand hertz created an exact copy of you, like a clone but at best could last for three mins, he had scratched his head again telling them to create illusions of themselves, they had done that and once that happened, he created an afterimage dud and entered Femto-mode.

"I have been running for some time now, yet there haven't been any rips in this event horizon" d**k thinks to himself

"It's probably cause of the way this realm is designed, time and space probably doesn't exist here but I still have to find my friends."

Soon d**k comes upon some bubbles, like the ones placed outside, they were very big and could easily accommodate a seven foot man, they were bouncing, d**k looks deeper, he could see his friends in some of the bubbles, they were all unconscious. d**k comes off Femto-mode. Sarah and Daniel regained consciousness, they were amazed how they had gotten here.

"Did you teleport us?"Daniel asks shocked.

"No, man, just did it the d**k ol' way, found our friends, how about we burst their bubble and get outta here" d**k says as he lets out an excited grin

"See what I did there, I made a pun like they are trapped in a bubble and I was like let's burst their bubbles."

Daniel gave a mild laugh, he understood the joke, Sarah on the other hand, looked around, she had a vigilant look.

"Someone is here" Sarah says aloud, she mutters a few words, green runes appear on her palms, she points it towards a bubble and a wave of green energy escapes her hand and hits the bubble, Marei becomes visible as he jumps out of the way of the incoming energy.

"I am surprised you noticed me, love, I had completely hidden my smell, sound and appearance, well, a true lady should never be underestimated" Marei says in an authentic British accent as he gets up.

"What are you supposed to be" Daniel asks as his palms now had blue runes on them.

"I am a demon, one of Lord Larias elites, an incubi to be precise" Marei came again in his british accent, his voice was dreamy to say the least.

"This is shocking, I thought demons couldn't talk like that" Sarah says amazed.

"Now, that's just racist but cause you are a lady and I have got etiquette, I am gonna let that slide" Marei says as he stretches his right arm, a rapier materializes in his palms(rapiers are swords which were introduced in the 18th century, they are very pathetic as the blade is extremely thin and blunt, it's what is used for fencing lessons).

"Aye, we are here for a fencing practice, in'nit" d**k says aloud trying to fake a british accent.

Marei smiles as the blade on his rapier begins to glow with a dark miasma.

"I am the Red Lord's elite, by his fire, I shall quench all those that stands before me" as he finishes his statement, the miasma on the sword quadruples.

"What's wrong with you demons nowadays, you guys take everything so dramatic, I mean come on, what the f**k was that" d**k grins as he brings his gun out of his jacket.

Marei dashes at d**k, he swipes his sword but d**k parries it with his pistol.

"I am the Dickson, holder of the golden D and I accept your challenge" d**k smirks in a sarcastic tone.

"Aye, you manky tosser, you think you a funny one, eh, let's see what you will be saying when I am done with ya" Marei says in his british accent as he slashes at d**k, d**k slides on the ground, raising his gun to Marei's genitals, he fires.

Marei collapses to the ground holding his tummy

"You wanker" he screams in pain.

"Everyone always got that place as a weakness" d**k smiles cheekily as he blows the sniffs the hole of his gun

"Smell that, it's the taste of defeat and broken balls."

Dick turns towards Daniel

"How is the bubble burst going along."

Daniel had a tired look on his face

"The bubbles are impenetrable from the outside, I have read about this sort of things in a book, it's called a Bobbole, according to the writings about it, can only be burst should the person on the inside decide to free himself, the problem with this is the Bobbole constantly shoots off boblom waves which trap the victim in a deep sleep."

Dick looks at the bubbles, they were transparent and had all the qualities of a typical bubble except their humongous size, the problem was they all appeared unconscious inside the Bobbole, if he could find a way to wake Lefinna, she would definitely be able to wake up the rest.

But things were turning bad for them as Marei gets up on his feet, he didn't look too pleased, he was annoyed, he dashes at d**k but midway, an energy blast hits him and he hits the ground violently.

Dick jumps to the four bobboles where his comrades were located but as he moved closer, the bobboles kept bouncing backwards, he even entered Femto-mode but the bobboles were always able to keep up with his speed as they kept bouncing away.

"This is utterly disgraceful" d**k mutters to himself as the bobboles keep bouncing away.

"If I can wake Leffy, she would no doubt use her telepathic abilities to wake the others, the only problem is I can't destroy it but there should be a way I can enter Leffy's head to wake her up but who's gonna keep Marei busy" d**k strokes his chin as he sees Marei, he was getting up and the miasma now covered his entire body.

"Hmm, there are bobboles all around, I should be able to trap him in one" d**k thinks as he leaps towards Marei, Marei leaps towards him.

"I have got you now, wanker" Marei snarls but d**k disappears from view.

Dick reappears at his back vibrating his right arm as fast as he could, he hit him on a pressure point in his neck, Marei falls to the ground unconscious. d**k jumps backwards, a bobbole begins to bounce, it reaches Marei's location and swallows him up.

"How did you know that would happen" Sarah asks, she had a look of admiration on his face.

"It was too obvious, any time someone conscious tried to get close to a bobbole, it bounced away and yet there were people sleeping in it, it made logical sense, these bobboles can sense consciousness and unconsciousness, for those conscious, it runs away from them and for those unconscious, it moves towards them" d**k ends as he grins showing a perfect set of white teeth.

"Come here, darling" Sarah says as she moves towards him, planting a kiss on his lips, d**k reaches into the kiss smiling sheepishly like an i***t.

"Heeeey guys, we still have Azexela and the others chasing us, we need to free our comrades and get out of here" Daniel say aloud, red comes on his cheeks.

Dick stops kissing his wife, Sarah had red on her cheeks, d**k looks at Daniel very well

"Is that a boner I see, yo, what are you thinking off?"

Daniel's face gets redder as he tries to regain his composure

"About the bobbole, how do you plan to burst them."

Dick smiles as he looks at his sleeping friends.

"The same ol' way a d**k does it, burst it from the inside, I have a telepathic connection with Leffy, is there a way we can tailor it so my consciousness can merge with her's, doing that should affect the atomic stability of the bobbole thereby causing it to burst and if Leffy's free, the others will surely be."

Daniel smiles heartily

"This guy sure is something, well, he was able to convince me to his side, I can't doubt him"

"Yes there's a way that can be done but to do that, I will need Sarah's help, it's a spell which must be chanted in the dragonic tongue" turning towards Sarah

"How familiar are you with that tongue."

Sarah smiles uneasily, she had recently be learning it but it was very complex, she was more versed in the abyssal tongues of chanting spells.

"Fam, that's my wife, she's versed in everything, ain't you, darlin" d**k smiles as he looks to his wife, Sarah doesn't return the smile, instead, she had a determined expression.

"Let's do this" she says aloud.

Sarah and Daniel join hands.

"We shall simply be saying may the souls of those who are connected merge, we just need to repeat that five times and that should do it."

Sarah was breathing heavily, she didn't know the dragonic translations for those words.

"What will I do."

Suddenly, Daniel's lips stops moving, he appeared frozen, d**k was right behind her.

"Hello, love , I am not a mage but one thing is sure, you don't need to say what Daniel needs you too, you can lip sync the words and pour your energy into Daniel, that should do the trick."

"How did you..." Sarah was about to say but everything returned back to normal.

"I am sorry, did you want to ask something" Daniel asks.

"No" Sarah says as she turns towards d**k, he was smiling and waving at her.

"You got this, honey" d**k says.

Sarah and Daniel begin chanting, as Sarah heard from d**k, she mouthed the chants after Daniel and poured her energy into him. Soon they had finished chanting the spell.

"Is that all cause I am still here, thought I was supposed to be out of my body, I guess I am even immune to magi..." d**k jokes but almost immediately, he slumps to the ground.

"Good, everything is going well" Sarah smiles to Daniel, Daniel returns the smile too.

"Yeah for us, everything is definitely going well, the same can't be said for you" comes Larias voice. Daniel and Sarah turn around and right before them was Larias, Azexela, Marcel and Shekindra.

"This can't be good" Daniel says shakily.

"I am going to have fun dissecting you" Azexela tells him as a long curly tongue comes out of her mouth licking her lips.
