After a headache, a flash of light followed. Monika held her head and opened eyes, realizing that she was lying on a wet, stony floor. She inspected the place around her. It looked like an abandoned castle. Torches on the walls were long dead.
- How did I get here...? - she thought to herself and got up.
A red lightning whipped across the sky, revealing a desolate land. Miles and miles of dust, stretching towards the horizon. When the lightning disappeared, it all sunk back into darkness. There were no stars, no moon nor the sun. The sky and the earth were one, united by the blackness.
She stepped back, ready to cast it all away like a nightmare, certain that the fall knocked her out and that all this is in her head. There was a simple, wooden door further down the hallway. S
