Leaving his right-hand man with an unspoken prayer, Angelo closed the door and ignored the rumbling struggle that came about after his stealthy exit. The sounds of vehicles moving back and forth nearly threatened to deafen his hearing, but one of the advantages of the virtual world was the ability to control the senses. And focusing on more pleasant sounds proved easier than pushing a button; just by looking elsewhere was enough to disperse the mechanical sound and replace it with joyous laughter from a few students resting by a small fire not two meters from his HQ. Angelo had neglected to understand the simple fact that a small window of relaxation, absent of fear with room to breathe, worked wonders for stressed minds making him realize the value of that stillness before the storm hit.
