The Jade Moon Prophecy

Dream Realm

Athena, Aphrodite and Apollo all sit around together holding hands in this place that can only be described as simply beautiful. Their majestic wolves stand behind them. Light blue and purple butterflies float over their heads. A vibrant blue waterfall flows beautifully into the river flowing just behind Athena. There are numerous wild animals playfully running about, chasing each other playfully. Wild flowers plague the fields in a wide variety of colors. Tulips and daises are carefully planted throughout and sunflowers bloomed in beautiful rows.

Selene enters the dream realm and slowly makes her way to her daughters. She taps Athena on the shoulder, bringing the girls out of their trance. They stand up to greet their mother in a hug like she could have only dreamed. “What place is this my dears?” She asks them gently, as if she didn't already know.

“You see when we were younger,we would get scared or have bad nightmares, so we created this place to get away and to find peace.” Aphrodite stated. “It’s been our solitude ever since. It allows us to meditate and expand how we approach things.” She continued as she played with one of the sunflowers standing behind her.

“It helps us soothe ourselves and it has always seemed to give us the exact guidance that we need.” Athena adds. “I’m not exactly sure why, but it almost in a way feels like it chose us.”

“I couldn’t agree more. I’ve felt that way before as well.” Aphrodite and Apollo said in unison.

“I know that we created it, I just can’t get over the thought that it might just have been guided to us.” Athena finishes.

Selene smiles at her daughters, “That is because I sent it to you in a dream.” she says softly. “I cannot stay long, my daughters. I must go back to the Moon Realm. I must get back to pairing wolves with their humans, and their mates. Of course there are other matters one must attend to as well.” She chuckles, more to herself than to the triplets. “I just wanted you to know that I love you and I will guide you the best I can, but I cannot help much more from here. You must fulfill the prophecy. You must unite the lands. I believe in you.” Selene stands up, hugging each of her daughters. “I must be going now. Forever, I will love you. Always.” With that, Selene faded back to William’s office.

Athena stood up, stomping her feet. “I just don’t f*****g understand! Why us? This is all too f*****g much!” she screams at no one in particular.

“Calm down, Athena.” Apollo states. “It’s going to be okay. I don’t know how yet, but it's going to be okay.”

“What I gather so far,” Aphrodite chimes in, “Is that we are the Royal Heirs, have immense powers, will share three mates, have to defeat evil and unite the worlds?” She pauses a moment, and brushes her long hair out of her eyes, “Is that correct?”

“That would be correct!” Athena and Apollo responded in unison.

“f**k. I’m not dreaming!” Aphrodite curses and plops down on the soft grass. “What are we going to do?”

Athena starts pacing, “Well, there’s about six weeks until our birthday. I think we should work on meeting everyone in the pack, learning the lay of the land, our history, our roles as Queens, training and trying to find our mates. You guys in?”

Aphrodite and Apollo look at each other, start giggling and gleefully cheer, “WE’RE IN!”

Athena leaned down and picked a lavender-colored wild flower and placed it behind Apollos' ear. She then leaned down and picked a bright pink wildflower and placed it behind Aphrodite's right ear. “You guys are the best sisters ever! We should go back and let the others in on our plan!”

Just a few moments later, the girls were back in William’s office, but Selene seems to have returned to the Moon Realm. As their eyes adjust to the light, they are super confused as to why everyone seems so anxious and on edge. It appears as if Rachel and Thomas had been crying and that King William possibly had a heart attack.

“Oh, thank goodness.” Rachel, screams as she fell to the floor hugging the triplets. “What the f**k just happened?” She demanded, fresh tears springing to her eyes.

“What do you mean?” Apollo asks. “We were just meditating in our sacred space.”

“What sacred space?” Thomas asks asked, stepping into the conversation.

“Yes, what sacred space?” King William chimes in.

“Our sacred meditation space. We created it when we were little. We used to get scared or have nightmares. One day we just created it. It always seemed to call out to us, helped us make rational decisions, and helped guide us. Mother came to us when we were in it this evening. She explained that she sent it to us in a dream, which would explain why it called out to us.” Athena responded.

“Selene did tell us that you were in the dream realm. That was hours ago. We thought something had happened to you. She drifted off to sleep just like the three of you had. She came back within twenty maybe thirty minutes, apologized and told us that she needed to return to the moon. It’s been nearly five hours since,” King William spoke. Thomas and Rachel agreed.

“Oh my lanta. We had no idea. We got distracted trying to figure out what our plan was going to be. If you guys wouldn’t mind sitting down, we will discuss it. However, before we do that, could we please have some omegas and bring us something to eat? We are famished.” Apollo asked eagerly. Aphrodite and Athena nodded their heads eagerly, almost as if they were begging.

“Of course. Right away.” King William states, as he reaches over to grab the receiver from the black phone on his desk. He pushes a few buttons. It appeared to ring a few times, but eventually someone picks up on the other end. “Please have a wide selection of foods brought to my office, pronto. Please make sure that it includes entrees, sides, desserts, drinks and, of course, some liquor. Thank you so much.” King William smiles and places the receiver back down on the phone, and returns his attention to the people who have now migrated to his large oval table in the center of his office.
