Date Unknown Eight I suddenly remembered I had been looking for EIGHT, that girl that could kill that piece of s**t the Avatar of Shiva. But was the Avatar awake? Was that why I was here? I could not remember yet, I had more pressing matters though. There was a gun to my face being pointed at me by Salvatore Salmon. “The real Colonel would have bashed my helmet by now,” Sal said aiming the gun at my face. I looked up at him and I put my hands up. I couldn’t risk injuring Sara just because Sal thought I was a fake. “It’s okay, I know he’s your friend,” Sara’s voice said but I realized that she had not spoken it. She had thought it in my mind. “Sal it’s me,” I said. “If you really are the Colonel, how come you haven’t,” Sal said. I quickly grabbed his gun and took out the battery pack and tossed it to the side before he could even get to the words, “How come…” I then pointed at my belt. It was the belt from the memory I had just recalled. The one that I knew could not be duplicated. I saw that Sal had his and, he looked at his and looked at mine and he looked sounded like he had gasped behind that helmet. “Krishna Colonel, we thought we lost you for a moment,” Sal said we both looked around and ducked down before we became too obvious. He pointed at my eye and said, “That is a nasty shiner that you have was that from fighting the Falcon?” “Probably,” I said as I looked around. I did not see any bugs or anything around us at the moment, so I knew the coast was clear. I shook my head when I started to think about that fight again, it made my eye hurt like s**t. “You don’t remember?” Sal asked. “I woke up in this hospital room about 45 minutes ago,” I calculated. “I remember bits and fragments before that, other than that I don’t recall all too much. When was the last time you saw me?” “It had to have been when you went like a mad man after the Falcon,” Sal explained. “How long ago was that?” I asked. “Probably 3 hours ago,” Sal said. Then he pointed off in the distance, I followed his gesture and saw that he pointed at that huge ship floating around in the distance in the ruins of this city. When he did it was the first time, I had recognized something. It was this massive arch that I knew only existed on the moon of Golordia Rho, specifically in the ruins of the city of Rhodesia, if I remembered correctly. So, I in fact was on Golordia Rho, right now. “You jumped off the Savage Moon after him.” “So, it is the Savage Moon,” I said looking over at the moon. The stuff from my memories slowly coming back to me as I looked at it. Even that weird symbol burning on the front of the moon, it was a symbol of Omicron one of the symbols I remember we had found out came from the Annunaki. “Do you know where the base is?” I asked. “It’s not far,” Sal said. “Everyone will be sure as f**k glad that you are here, and you are well.” I shot him a look. “I guess minus the eye.” “Who’s the girl?” Sal asked suddenly. “I’m Sara,” Sara said. “Woah, she looks like Olga,” Sal said looking at Sara for a minute. “Olga?” Sara asked. “It’s a friend of ours,” I said. “You happen to look a lot like her.” “Is she pretty?” Sara asked. “Very,” I said simply. “Colonel why does she also look like Heather?” Sal asked me over the comm system that we both had figured out the belt had. I tried to remember when we had figured that out, but I could not recall that, just yet. Thinking it over made my eye hurt. “So, I am not the only one who saw that,” I said to him over the belt. “It’s kind of hard not to see it,” Sal said. “I don’t know why she looks like them,” I said. “You don’t think that this is the sort of crap that Methuselah told us?” Sal said. “Methuselah?” I asked. “Yeah remember that weird cloning s**t that the Annunaki were doing?” Sal said. “That they would even create clones of two different people by making a weird hybrid? That reminds me Les...” I watched as a woman suddenly printed herself into existence in a similar fashion that I had seen Hanuman do before. It started at the top, a white helmet appeared it was very elegant it reminded me of a swan. Then her white armor appeared, it was similar to the one I had seen that hologram of Methuselah wear. Then a white skirt, white tights and pearl white shoes. “You look like you don’t remember me,” the woman said. “That’s because I don’t,” I said looking at the woman. “I think that injury scrambled his brain,” Sal suggested. “Perhaps,” the woman said. “Either way now that we found him we have to contact Lord Hanuman and tell her our status.” Sara jumped off of my back suddenly and ran to the woman and stared at her heels. “Pretty,” Sara said. “Thank you, young one.” The woman said. “Hanuman?” I said. “This is Hanuman,” Hanuman’s voice said. “This is Leslie,” the woman named Leslie said. “Oh, hey Les,” Hanuman said. “We have a problem,” Leslie said. “What do you mean we have a problem?” Hanuman said. “They have the Savage Moon,” Leslie said. “Wait…who the hell got a hold of that?!” Hanuman said. “The Locust got a hold of it,” Leslie said. “Uh huh…” Hanuman said. “My lord I am afraid that they are going to destroy Golordia Prime with it.” Leslie said. I looked around when she said that. I realized that this was not Rhodesia this was f*****g Albadios, that f*****g ancient city that had been discovered on Golordia Prime. “Uh huh…” “They’re going to blow up Golordia Prime?” I said. “What about us? What about the kid?” “Tell him to freeze his daughter,” Hanuman said. I c****d my eyebrows at that. “What do you mean my daughter?” I asked “He is asking, what do you mean by his daughter my lord.” The woman said. “Oh, tell him to trust me for once.” Hanuman said. “Trust him? I trust him as far as I can throw him,” I said. “Oh, he’s so silly, thinking he can throw me,” Hanuman said. “You still haven’t answered me Hanuman, what do you mean my daughter?” I said and Hanuman did not really answer that. “Can he hear me?” I asked the woman. “Oh he heard you,” the woman said. “Tell him huff and puff will find her,” Hanuman said. “Who the hell is huff and puff?” I asked. “He does not remember much it seems my lord.” The woman said. “Wait what?!” Hanuman said then I heard him say. “Sorry but have to go.” I c****d my eyebrow and had this strange feeling of Déjà vu. I waited for a minute and saw Hanuman suddenly print himself out in front of me. “Ouch that looked like it hurt,” Hanuman said pointing at the scar. “It sure as hell did,” I said. “So…what do you mean you don’t remember much?” Hanuman said. “When did you come from?” I asked. “When?” Sal asked. “Ah…so you remember that conversation huh?” Hanuman sniggered. “It was when you were talking about that you accidentally caused the Samantha White and Samuel Blanco debacle.” I said pointing at Hanuman. “Right you are.” Hanuman said. “So, what’s wrong with your memory?” “I only remember parts,” I said. “I don’t remember past 45 minutes ago and stuff I do remember is up to when we went to go find Methuselah.” Hanuman whistled when I said that. “What do you mean up…” Sal started to say but Hanuman stared at him and he stopped talking. But it looked like it surprised him, and he started pointing at his throat. “Be quiet Sal,” Hanuman said. “s**t I wish I could have done that to Vinnie,” I said. Hanuman looked back at me and over at the woman named Leslie who had started to play with Sara. She was spinning her around slightly as Sara giggled. I looked around and realized I was no longer in Albadios, but inside of a ship. I looked around trying to gauge it. Everything around it was magnificent. It looked like everything was made of something like Ivory, but I knew it was not. There were panels all around with that same symbol of the pyramids…no the Zima stars with the ship flying through it. It was then it dawned on me. This ship…it was the ship in the symbol. “Yep, you are right,” Hanuman said. “This is the ship that is in the symbol.” Hanuman reached up to me and flicked his finger. “Now recall everything.”
