Entry 55

10 Brahma “Sal,” I said as I saw the helmet of the Sea Lion looking back at me. A couple of days had passed since I had investigated the book. I got to the picture of those animals and did not go further because duty called. Being the head of the Black Knights was irritating to say the least. The hilarious thing was that I reported to no one, no one at all. I was my own CO, there was no CO above me. Jason Black supposedly personally ran the Black Knights, but that was not true. The Tiger was supposedly running them but that was not true either. I realized that quickly because I had to do a lot of organizing to make sure that I was the one who was running the black knights. The Falcon didn’t like that, of course, I remember he wailed like a little b***h. “You are bloody insane,” the Falcon had protested. “Am I now?” I said. “By putting in an organization into our group it would be easier to manage.” “Fine have your organization if you must!” He had said. He was holding back then again. And I knew it. I knew the fucker was holding back. “Colonel, we found something interesting,” Sal said. “What’s that?” I asked. “Well it involves Omicron,” Sal said “The dead moon?” I asked fighting off a habit of looking up to find it in the sky. Omicron was a conundrum you could see it from certain parts of Golordia Prime. You could see it from Gildan, the city to the west of Glycol, at least you can start seeing it. Usually it was the western most cities and providences and states where you could start seeing it. Also, from some of the Eastern cities and providences. The thing about Omicron was the fact that it was tide locked, and it always was in the shadow of the planet. We had never seen anything like that before, well I mean aside for on Omicron. It was super unique it was the only known moon that was like that. The legend was that Rudra had made it like that. The legend was that Omicron was a 13th habitable moon of Golordia. It had a normal orbit around the planet, and it had an atmosphere, but then Rudra came and destroyed the atmosphere of the moon, and somehow caused it to remain where it was. It was dead ever since. Or so the legend goes.  “Yeah the dead one,” Sal said. “Well what about it?” I asked. “Amber found something interesting,” Sal said. A second later this very pretty woman appeared. She was pretty young, probably around the same age as Olga and I she had long curly hair and was wearing glasses. I c****d my head for a second before realizing, it was the first time I had seen Amber without her helmet on. “Colonel,” Amber said her accent sounding clearer now without her helmet. “You know this is the first time I have seen you without that helmet,” I said. “Is it?” Amber said. “Told you,” Sal said somewhere off screen. “Sal you got yourself quite the looker,” I said. “Says the man who has three,” Sal said. “Thank you, Colonel,” Amber said turning red. “That aside, you found something?” I asked. “Yes, I did.” Amber said. “You know about the story of Rudra?” “As much as anyone else I think,” I said. “As I thought,” then she paused for a moment. She kept moving hair out of her face before she got mad and started brushing it back with her hands and tied it behind her head. “Did you know that there is another story?” she asked after finishing that. “Another one?” I asked. “Yes,” Amber said. “And it involves Golordia Omicron.” “Amber the first one involves that,” I said. “I know that,” Amber said. “What I meant to say is it involves how it got there.” “What do you mean how it got there?” I asked. “That’s the thing Colonel, Amber and I can’t find any logs of the moon existing beyond the time that Rudra would have been around.” Sal said poking his head into the screen. He was still wearing the helmet. “What the hell does that mean?” I asked. Then I remember what had happened with Samantha Lorillard and Heather Fuscia, they had created a phony person by broadly announcing her existence. The same thing happened with the Sigmosis Plague, the new one and the old one. Neither had actually existed, yet they made it seem like it did. “Kind of like the Sigmosis Plague?” I asked scratching my head. “Exactly,” Amber said. “Are you sure about that?” I asked. “We checked everything,” Sal said. “Even the entries that refer to the moon existing before that point seemed to have been created after it was there.” “Really?” I said. “I wish we were kidding,” Amber said. “So, what is this story about how it got here?” I asked. “You are not going to believe me when I say this,” Amber started. For some reason I felt super nervous all the sudden. “It’s a ship,” Amber said. “A ship!?” I said. “A ship,” Sal echoed. This time I did look up, but I only saw the ceiling above me. “Ha, you have that same tick as I do,” Sal said. “I looked up also when she said that.” “What do you mean it’s a ship?” I asked. “Well that’s the thing Colonel, it is not only a ship, but its his ship.” Amber said as if I knew who she was talking about. In fact she looked like she had this idea that I did know who she was talking about. “What do you mean his ship?” I asked after a pause. “Rudra’s,” she said, and I felt instantly cold. “Rudra’s ship?” I asked and she nodded. “The f*****g avatar of Shiva?” She only nodded. “Omicron is his ship?” She nodded again. I paused and thought about that again. A ship the size of a moon? Such an idea was way out of the realm of possibilities that I knew about. However, if Rudra really was an Avatar of Shiva, and he knew where a specific ship was that belonged to the star builders. I could see a moon sized ship being a star builder thing. “What in the f**k is it doing here?” I asked. That was something that now my mind was churning about. If this thing was a ship that belonged to Rudra, what in the hell was it doing here? “If you take it another way Colonel, even the original story about the ship makes sense.” Amber said and I c****d my eyebrow. “Let me explain, we all have heard of the story of how Rudra had destroyed the life on Omicron.” I only nodded. She then continued, “Well if it was a ship, then it would have been manned up. If Rudra came here to lay siege against whatever forces he was laying siege again, and that war caused the death of the peoples manning up the ship, then it would have wiped out the life on that ship.” She concluded. I thought about it for a moment and that sort of made sense. “I guess I can see that,” I said. “I have a feeling you are going to say but…” Sal interjected. “And you would be right,” I said. “What is the discrepancy?” Amber asked. “The discrepancy is that we have known of this legend since before the time of the Fakirs.” I said and Amber nodded. “Indeed, we have, Colonel,” Amber said. “Then where did this idea about it being a ship come from?” I asked. “Oh that is the good part Colonel,” Sal said. “Why do you say that?” I asked. “Because you’re not going to believe this part.” Sal said almost excitedly. I half expected him to one day take his helmet off and reveal a face much like Vinnie’s behind that damn thing because they were so similar, Sal could be his brother or even a cousin. “And what part is that?” I asked. “Where did this info come from?” “From the Albadios ruins,” Amber said. I froze. “Albadios?” I asked and Amber nodded. “Boom!” Sal appeared making a mocking explosion above his head. “Mind blown, Colonel, I couldn’t believe it either I thought Amber was full of it, probably the f*****g Sigmosis Plague spreading or some shit.” “And here is the thing Colonel, it comes specifically from the ruins of Mickhael,” Amber said. “That was what made me look into it in the first place. Apparently there is a depiction of Rudra bringing the moon here, and you remember the Omicron symbol right?” I thought about that for a moment and for whatever reason I couldn’t remember the symbol of Omicron. I remember Rho’s because all the f*****g dog tags having that damn symbol on them. But Omicron… As I was thinking about it a screen popped up in front of my face. I realized it was because of the belt and because Thoth was still hanging around somehow. The symbol for the moon of Omicron was the letter O inside of a laurel wreath with 6 leaves on each laurel branch. They represented the 12 other moons. The O represented the planet of Golordia Prime, and there was a dot stuck near one of the curves of of the O that was western enough that it was not east and eastern enough that it was not west. I silently thanked Thoth for showing me that. “Yeah that circle inside of the laurel wreath,” I said. “Look familiar,” Amber suddenly showed a picture on a tablet she had in her hand. It showed the same symbol. But the rest of the tablet showed something else entirely. The Omicron symbol was burning high in the sky above what looked to be a city. The planet was omitting this green mist looking stuff around it that encased it in a similar way as the laurels encircled the current symbol. And that dot, that dot looked deadly it looked like a weapon. “Where the hell is that?” I asked. I realized it was a mural, it was drawn on a wall. The wall looked ancient. “That’s the thing, Colonel, it is on one of the walls in the Cathedral of Mickhael.” Amber said. I nearly felt my mouth gape when she said that. “Krishna!” I said. “That’s what we said,” Sal said poking his head back into the video. “That reminds me Colonel, I thought you would find interesting but, have you wondered where our friend the Falcon randomly disappeared to mysteriously?” Sal asked. I thought about that for a moment. It was eating away at my mind briefly. One day early on Janus disappeared, for about 2 weeks, but he reappeared, I did not think much of it because I thought fucker was angry that I had beaten him in getting rid of Tiger. There was no doubt in my mind that the Falcon had found this an outrage and went off to beat up a puppy or something and came back. “Now that you mentioned it,” I said. “Well, this was Sal’s doing,” Amber said. “So, you best tell him.” Sal appeared on the screen by himself. “Colonel, what would you say if I told you that our friend the Falcon went to the constellation of the hunter?” I jumped out of my seat when he said this. “What did you say?” I asked. “Remember that Chatter we thought was mindless crap earlier?” Sal asked. “Yes,” I said. “Turned out the chatter was of the Falcon going to the constellation of the Hunter.” “Why?” “We don’t know,” Sal said. “Frankly sir, I still find it dubious,” Amber said. “Why is that?” I asked. “The distance,” Sal said. I stopped and thought about that for a minute. The constellation of the Hunter was at least 70 light years away from us, it was actually more like 65. 984232974 light years. Our top ships traveled at 10 times the speed of light that would take a week to get there. If he disappeared for 2 weeks it would make sort of sense, but it was pushing it. Because he would have to have at least a week of pressure training that he had to go through in order to travel those 70 light years at top speed. “That would be a strain,” I said. “But it is possible,” Sal said. “Well whatever, why did he go there?” I asked. Though I had an idea. In the book I remember seeing the Falcon bowing before a silver dragon, did that mean something? Was there something in the Hunter that was a way that the falcon was talking with whatever the hell the silver dragon was? Since I knew the thing about the silver color, I was extremely concerned about that. “That’s the thing Colonel, he went to the belt of Orion,” Sal said. “WHAT!?” I said. “Your f*****g joking right?”  “We wish we were Colonel,” Amber said reappearing. “Why the f**k did he go there?” I asked. “We don’t know,” Sal said. “Fuck.” I said and I rubbed my temples.  I sighed heavily.  “Did you double back on your searches?” I asked. “Like you told us,” Sal said. “Good,” I said. “Colonel, what the f**k does all of this mean?” Amber asked. “I have no idea,” I said honestly. “Obviously, it means that the Falcon is involved with some s**t, what that s**t is I am not totally sure.” “Oh, that reminds me Colonel,” Amber said. “There is one more thing.” “What is that,” I asked. “Are you seriously going to bother him with that?” Sal asked. “With what?” I asked. “It’s rumors,” Amber said. “A freaking boogeyman Colonel,” Sal said. “What do you mean?” I asked. “There is chatter, of somebody calling itself the Locust.” Amber said. Now I really was flabbergasted. “You’re kidding?” I asked. “You’ve heard of it?” Amber acted surprised. “I guess you can say that,” I said. “Well, what about it?” There was a pause. An eerie pause. I was about to say something. But I felt this chill coming to me. “The chatter says that the Locust will…” Amber said she stopped herself looking like she was getting flustered, then she breathed deeply and said. “The chatter said the Locust would activate the Savage moon.”
