“Why do we still have to wake up so early,” I grumble, earning a chuckle from Mike as he comes to make sure I’m up at 5am. I feel exhausted after not getting back from my perimeter run until 1am.
“Well, you said you wanted to train to be a warrior, so we need to keep up with yesterday’s training,” Mike announced. Hearing those words instantly woke me the rest of the way up.
“Are you training me privately or with your group today?” I ask, before getting up and going to the bathroom with my clothes.
