Missing

“Doc! The patient in room 014 was gone! Please help me find my Auntie!”

I reported it, and they showed me the CCTV cameras, but nothing can help us from their footage.

The footage from the CCTV cameras was nothing, it shows that my Auntie was awake, and stood up from her bed.

After a few moments, she disappeared all of a sudden.

There's me who was sleeping, but I'm not aware that I'm sleeping.

It's my fault!

I'm not keeping my attention on her, as the result of that bad news, she's already missing!

Azrael was already missing, now, my Auntie was the same as Azrael.

My head is aching.

I need to find them before something bad will happen to them.

It seems like, everything is not going to be okay based on the things that were already happening right now.

It's hurting my ego, but I think, Sapphire will help me in this kind of situation.

I will put my pride down, and reach her level.

“Miss Morgan, please give us a week or two weeks to find your Aunt, I'm sending my apologies to you because we didn't monitor her properly,” the doctor said with an apologetic voice.

“Please, bear with us, we will do our best to find her,” the nurses said.

I decided to go to our school to meet Sapphire and ask her to help me find Azrael and Auntie Azalea.

“Psst...” I chose to ignore that sound.

“Look who's here,” an annoying voice of the girl reached my ears.

I ignored them because all I need is Sapphire Johnsen.

“Miss, I will go with you.”

His blank expression and unexplainable voice give me chills.

It's Harvey McKenzie, the ex-boyfriend of Zoe Amethyst. I laughed in my head when the memories of the past were brought up to my mind.

On how we met each other. It's just an awkward moment. I shook my head, I should be focused on the situation.

“Long time no see, Sammy Morgan.” His white hair with black roots and blank expression will make you tremble.

I wonder if what traits, or looks that Zoe Amethyst likes, or loved in him.

The group of girls began to gossip. Well, I don't care, it's not their business.

“Have you seen, Sapphire Johnsen? I need something from her,” I said with a casual look.

“Sapphire Johnsen? The student from the other building? Nope,” he said. His sight is still in the hallway.

Harvey was tall and had an average body, the kind of body that's neither he's not fat nor thin.

I think he is 17 or 18 years old.

When they give an impression to this guy, they will say that he is handsome, attractive, or sexy, and not the kind of guy that will mingle with others.

I might say that they have a right, and good impression, because that is true.

All the things that he shows were his true traits and physical looks, but, in my opinion, he's different when he's with her girl. The one he truly loves.

But, the thing is... does he still love Zoe?

I witnessed their love story, and it's kinda awkward, but they were the kind of couple that will not show in public.

Instead, they will prove their love when it's the only two of them.

I can't blame them, because, in this society, all the people are watching your actions, but some of them were not like your true identity.

“Hey, back to earth, Sammy Morgan.” I rolled my eyes, I'm spacing out.

“Can you just stop calling me by my whole name?” he grinned, “Fine, but what will I call you? Mine?” he smirked, “Just kidding, don't take that seriously.”

I nudged at him, but he looked at me like there's nothing wrong with what he said.

“I'm here because of Sapphire Johnsen, that's all,” I said. I'm getting irritated with this guy.

It seems like, it's not a good idea that he is with me. I noticed the papers that were clipped at his arm.

“Oh, these papers? I need to submit it to the dean's office, it's all about the contest, do you want to know something?” I arched my right eyebrow.

“If a person chose to be the candidate for that contest, that person will be sent to the asylum, and observe the people inside it.”

“If they failed, they will not be able to come back here... alive.” My eyes widen.

“However, if that person passed, he or she will be having an award... of one of the secret killers in here,” he whispered.

“That's a secret, so better to shut your mouth, or else...” He didn't continue. We arrived at the dean's office, and Sapphire was also here.

I sent a sign to her to come out from the office, and thankfully she got it as fast as I expected.

“Azrael's mother was missing,” I whispered.

“What?” Her eyes widened, “Lower your voice, I'm here just to ask you if you are willing to help me find them.”

She was still in the middle of shock, because she froze for about a minute or two.

“Sapphire!” Harvey shouted at her.

“Sure, I want to help you, Azrael was my friend, we will find them, just wait for me here because I will pass the important papers.”

I nodded at her, then Harvey came out, and stood beside me.

“I will help you, even though Azrael is my enemy.” I looked at him with a bewildered look on my face.

“Enemy? How? Why? What's the reason?”

“Just don't mind it, or if you want to know everything, you must keep alive, and kicking, because if something bad happens to you, I will tell Amethyst that she should fetch you here,” he laughed.

Because of my agitated mood, I glared at him.

“Just kidding,” he added. Can I slap this guy? Just for once, promise.

“Let's go, Sammy Morgan,” Sapphire said, and came out from the office.

“Sapphire and I have already had an agreement, so you can't choose any options, because there's no option.”

He's back with a blank, and cold expression.

“We will start to search to where they've lived.”
