Rebellious 16

I was embarrassed, of course. I wouldn't deny it but I acted cool. I didn't realize that I was ashamed of my own foolishness. I didn't make it obvious because I am sure, he won't stop bugging me about it. Well, it wasn't my intention to give him footsie under the table in this public place, my very favorite restaurant. I wouldn't put dirt on where I eat. But even when we started eating for lunch, he still didn't take his eyes off of me. I stopped chewing and slowly raised my head to look at him. okay? So, what is he looking at? Is he going to bring up what happened? He was the one who started it! I just don't like the thought of losing or even the idea of not having anything to rebut him. I raised my brow at him. "What? Aren't you going to eat that?" My gaze went to his food. It was still left untouched while I started eating mine earlier ago. My forehead creased when his upper lip rose up. And again, the familiar feeling of annoyance started to build inside me. I glared at him. "Quit staring at me, Rayver. I want to eat in peace so, please. Will you stop?" "I just can't help it," he said. "I really thought you'd do me dirty with your feet earlier." "I am not that attracted to you to do that—" He immediately cut me off. "Not attracted enough? So, you are saying that you are." I stopped. I carefully drop the utensils on my plate and straighten my back, not taking my eyes off of him. Okay? So, what's with him? Why are suddenly talking about this thing we don't normally do? Besides, is he that feeling close? Why would he even bring that up when in the first place, nothing between us is real? None of these are real. Just... what is he up to now? What is he trying to pull off? "Well, honestly... Even if you are the Lili Madrigal, I would still be physically attracted to you. I wouldn't choose you to that night if not, then." "Choose me, huh?" I almost rolled my eyes. "Am I included in your options for girls at that time for you to choose me? So, I was on top by rank that you have picked me, huh? How low," I said, I didn't even hide the fact that I was annoyed by his arrogance. If I was on my right mind at that time— well, I was but it was vague yet I still gave him my consent. But if I was sober at that time, I wouldn't even be with him. I'd rather choose someone else, not him. But yup... the reason why he succeeded in luring me was that I found him hot. He is physically attractive and clearly my type but that's it. Nothing special about Rayver Clemente. He's just an ordinary average guy but has a high-class face and body. He let out a playful smirk. "Well, honestly... Lili, you weren't that bad in bed." I glared at him. "Are we seriously talking about performance now? Have you got no shame, Rayver?" I told him seriously. "We are not that close enough to talk about it. Even you were the one I slept with that night. Actually, if I could turn back time, I wouldn't even think of hooking up with you nor just looking at you. You are attractive, yes. Maybe in other people's eyes but to me, you are not. If only I could turn back the time, I could have just avoided that night than crossing paths with you." He went silent. I thought he would stop but he didn't. At that time, I lost my appetite to eat. I grabbed the spoon and fork with a bang but I also got stronger when I put them on the plate. Fortunately, no one noticed that. Being here with him just doesn't make any sense, hmm? I don't understand why we have to talk about this stuff while we were having lunch. Gosh... Does he have no shame? An etiquette? I glared at him that I hope he burns into ashes. Gosh... This guy. Can't he stop? I was about to stand up when he quickly reach for my hand. "Alright, Lili. I apologize. That was put out of the line so, don't leave, and let's just finish our lunch." I looked at his hand on my wrist. "You were being an a sshole, are you even aware of that? Would you even stop if I didn't tell you to?" "That's why I am sorry..." he said softly. "C'mon, Lili. Let's finish our lunch and I will drive you home after. Or better, you could just come with me to the company. I will have someone tour you around if that's what you want." I shook my head. I may not be interested in our family business but I have been there a few times already. After all, the company Rayver is working for is our family's building. The only thing I didn't really understand was why I didn't recognize him. Or even seen in the company once? Was he always out of town whenever I decide to visit the company? Liam is also the only person I go there for. Maybe... Why am I even curious? As I've said, Rayver Clemente is not worth my time and effort. I don't have to know him in order to get to know him. Besides, I already know what type of a guy he is. He may be a gentleman for driving me home to safety, but the fact that he's here for money and connection won't change my mind about him. I just wanted to know what made him say yes, ha? Was the offer so big that he's really willing to give up his bachelor's for it? What might that be? I don't know, really.
