Water pounded my body as I stood in the shower. I stared at the white grouting between the grey tiles that I was surrounded by, running my thumb nail along the crack. I thought about how Parker and I had shared a shower, when our relationship was new. Our romance only lasted for a month and a half, but it had been a whirlwind full of emotion. I wasn't crying over him anymore. There was now just an aching need to have him back in my life dwelling on my mind. I knew that the feeling would eventually fade, but it was tough getting through it right now.
