"It was nice meeting you tonight, Kiana." said Clark. Him and his love interest were saying goodbye, having already exchanged numbers. The cuteness of their relationship was making me feel really irritable, and then I felt guilty that I wasn't happy for Clark, so then I got annoyed at myself, and then I got annoyed at Clark and Kiana for starting it, and I was just spiraling downwards into a pit of self pity.
It was midnight and we were finally leaving. Just as I thought we were about to walk away, Clark and Kiana leaned towards each other. Oh no, no, no, no- their lips connected and I internally screamed. Stupid brother, why does he have to look so cute with his crush?
Clark and Kiana smiled at each other before he came back to Marion and I, and we left.
