Patrick whistled once Kiera had relayed to him the details of their brush with the law. He looked thoughtful. “I’ll arrange a new car for you. You won’t be able to drive this anymore, now you’ve got the police looking out for you.” He patted the Land Rover bonnet but quickly removed his hand when Jack frowned at him. “I’ll miss her,” Jack said, staring at the car sadly. Kiera rolled her eyes and turned to Patrick. “We’re going to need something we can fit all our things in.
