Chapter Thirty-ThreeCaden stared at the scene before him in dismay and then returned his gaze to the map he had spread out across Stephen’s bonnet. Shaky police officers were being pulled from their vehicles whilst people hacked away at the strange shrub that had engulfed the road. A perimeter had been set up so as to avoid prying eyes, especially from the press. He had almost smiled when he’d heard the members of the Magic Council taking control of the situation and giving their agreed explanation to the officers.
