“What do you mean you can’t see anything? Has there been anything impossible for you to see?” Selene, the alpha’s mother, whispered to Yael, the pack’s priestess.
She had gone for a follow-up visit after Yael came to the mansion upon her request. They have been friends for years and have always received a vision for every plan she wants to take.
“She’s too bright. I couldn’t even look her in the eyes. Also, ever since then, my powers wouldn’t flow effortlessly like they used to,” Yael lamented.
An exhausted gasp left Selene’s lips with the revelation she just heard. She had been trying to make Yael read Aria’s mind and get every information she could but seeing how it was impossible, it made her more unsettled.
