Chapter 4 - Family

“Her powers are great. She has the ability to manipulate the weather. Rain, lightning , wind."

“Is that where I got my name from?” I asked curious

“Maybe” she chuckled “We all laugh when she named you but loved it too” she played with my hair.

“Sometimes we would manipulate the weather for our own benefit. She was also an empath"

“Where is she?” I asked my aunt hoping she could explain

“Let’s have dinner” she tried to brush it off

“You promised me” I pleaded

“Yes I do, I promise I will tell you when it’s right” I gave in

She jumped off the bed happy "i'll go arrange dinner and send someone to bring it, okay?" I nodded . she looked back when she got to the door "Please give him a chance. He waited and now that he lost Jackson, he would be feeling sad too" She smiled and left the room.

Dad I really miss you now. I don't think i'll be able to live without you dad.

Few minutes passed and the door opened, Elijah walks in with a huge tray of food placing it right beside me on the bed.

"I didn't know your favourite , so I brought them all" he sat by the edge of the bed

"You know? I can't tell you to forgive me for whatever happened. I wasn't there for like I should have. I know whatever my explanation might be, it doesn't matter because you are hurting a lot."

I ignored him looking away. I think he got the message of me wanting to be away from him and he left the room.

I woke up not too long and it's still dark. My door opened and everyone came in; Kendra, Elijah, kellan, ingrid, Ben.

Kendra came to my side and i shifted from her a little "I was just coming to wake you up" Kendra told me

"Rain we have to leave now to join the rest" Ben said

"The rest? What rest?" I asked looking at Elijah for explanation

"Rain there are other Alphas and It would be easier to protect you all together" he told me

"There are other people?" I asked confused

"Yes dear. Well four of you guys right now. Aside from myself and Ben, you four are the last of our kind till the next ones join us in couple years" she said in a sad voice "Michael is killing all" she said again

"Rain you need to get ready now and we'll move" kellan said

"But it's like midnight right now. Let wait till morning " I spoke out

"We still leave” Kellan smiled while he left with Elijah and Ben

Ingrid and Kendra helped me get ready. Apparently i'm wearing kendra's dress and it's perfect on my body like I own it.

This house it amazing. Going downstairs, was the hallway and little interior I was able to. Would have loved it if I had a tour . This place is like a mansion. We exited the building and I saw 4black jeeps all lined up outside. I whispered to myself "are you sure this isn’t the human world" I mean see all these

Kendra laughs leading me to the second one in the middle. "Yes Rain. It isn't different from the human world really, everything is the same. We have everything the humans do. Just that people here are different and know about each other." she smiled

"Okay"

"Yes. Execpt for that pocket thing you communicate with" she said not having an idea

Pocket thing? "A phone?" I asked

"Yes that". What? You have to be kidding me.

"Why won't you have that?" I asked literally screaming loud

Elijah, Ben and kellan rushes to my side "What is wrong" Kellan asked worried

"She is just angry we don't have the pocket thingy here" she said

"This is crazy. I can't live without that" I explained to them panicking

"Rain it wouldn’t work here" Elijah told me

So freaking angry right now.

I saw Ingrid coming with some men and women wearing all black outfits. About eight of them.

Ben spoke up "Tori and Nick are vampires; this is Beck and Brian are wolves; Ella, Haley, Ashton and Cole are guardians . They would be our escorts " he explained

Elijah and Kendra insisted on riding with me.

I am riding in the second car. with Nick as the driver and Tori in front.

The cars were moving almost too close too each other with average speed.

Not too long I slept off.

I woke up and it's morning. Thank God but the car is still moving.

"Gosh i'm so tired. How long have we been riding " I asked them

"Ten hours now." Tori told me

"But where are we going exactly " I asked curious cause this place is really far

"Skull City, Vampire territory" Kendra answered

'What? Now they are taking me to a land filled with vampires. Are they planning to get me killed already'

We entered the Vampire territory and finally we came in view with a castle. Calling this place a mansion is an understatement.

This is huge and amazing. A royal castle. That’s what it should be called.

The car stopped by the front and we all got down. Ben, ingrid, Elijah, and Kellan got down from their's too and walked towards us.

Outside the house, so many security guards standing around, like they are guarding the white house or something.

A beautiful woman came out the front door. Slim and tall with very dark hair wearing dark jeans and a purple tank top. She came in front of me and pulled me into one tight hug.

She pulled back almost immediately "it's nice to finally meet you Rain" she smiled.

Guess she noticed how confused I looked at her "Pardon my manners, i'm Olivia" she introduced herself

I smiled.

"Enough with the meeting. Please let get Rain inside, it's getting cold for her" Elijah jumped in thankfully

We entered inside and this place is incredible. I was looking around, moving in circles. The interior is that ancient and a bit of modern but it is looking good. The stairs are as long as a mountain. The carpet, gosh this is amazing.

They all smiled."This place is really amazing right? Elijah is the most wealthy one here." Ingrid said laughing

So this is his place.

"Well let's go to my office" Elijah told us and we followed
