Alice, why don't you get over here and show my friend how nice you are.”I looked at my boyfriend like he had completely lost his damn mind.He was drunk. Again. Randy was drunk as a skunk, acting like he was Superman himself, the man of steel who couldn't be beaten by anyone or anything. He stood there with that stupid grin on his face, thinking he was the greatest thing walking on two legs.I stood there staring at him, and for the first time, I realized something. I was done. Completely and totally done. I had been done for a while, if I was being honest with myself. I had just been too stupid to walk away. Randy was the top street racer around. Everyone knew his name. He had the fastest cars, the biggest ego, and enough money to make people look the other way when he did something stupid. And because he was good at racing, he thought that made him untouchable. It didn't. I turned around and started walking away.“Alice.”I kept walking. Then I felt his hand wrap around my wrist. He yanked me backward so hard I nearly lost my balance.“I said come over here and show my friend how nice you can be, Alice.”I jerked my arm away from him. “No.”               His face changed. “What did you say?”I looked him straight in the eyes. “I said no.”Then I slapped him as hard as I could across the face. The room went completely silent..“There,” I snapped. “I showed him how nice I can be. f**k you, Randy. Leave me alone. I'm done with you.”For a second, he just stared at me. Then he laughed. He actually laughed. “Are you seriously dumping me?” I said nothing. He pointed at me. “You? The b***h of the South? The slut of the month? You're dumping me?” My blood boiled. Randy turned toward his friend, laughing like this was some kind of joke. “See? I told you she doesn't listen.” Then he looked back at me. “You still want her?”His friend didn't even have time to answer. I drove my knee straight between Randy's legs. His face went white. He dropped to the floor, grabbing himself as he screamed in pain. “SON OF A—” didn't wait around to hear the rest. I ran. I grabbed my keys, ran outside, jumped into my car, and took off. I wasn't thinking. I was just done. Done with Randy. Done with his friends. Done with the racing. Done with this town. And most of all, I was done allowing someone else to control my life.I knew if I stayed, Randy would make my life a living hell. So I went home, threw clothes into bags as fast as I could, grabbed whatever I thought I needed, and ran back to my car. I didn't even bother looking back. I was leaving. For good. Before I pulled away, I took one last look at my phone. Randy had a tracker on it. I knew he did.I wasn't stupid. I rolled down the window and tossed my phone as far as I could. “Goodbye, asshole.”Then I drove. But the car was another problem. There was no way Randy wouldn't recognize it. So I pulled into a garage I knew would ask no questions. I left the car there and took my old car instead. It wasn't pretty. It wasn't fast. It definitely wasn't anything Randy would want. And that was exactly why I loved it. I drove away again. This time, I didn't have a phone. I didn't have a boyfriend. I didn't have my old life. I had nothing but a car full of clothes and whatever money I had managed to save. And honestly? It felt damn good. I had no idea where I was going.I just knew I needed to get as far away from Randy as possible. I thought I was leaving my old life behind. I thought that was going to be the hardest thing I would ever have to do. Boy, was I wrong.Because I had no idea what was waiting for me. I had never believed in the supernatural. Werewolves? Never heard of them.Vampires? Fairy tales. Witches? Something people made up to scare children. And motorcycle-riding werewolves? Yeah, absolutely not.Yet somehow, that was exactly where my life was headed.I had no idea that somewhere out there was a man who wasn't just going to become my new problem. He was going to become my mate. An Alpha. A freaking Alpha. And his entire pack was going to work overtime trying to hide the truth from me. I didn't know what they were. I didn't know what they could do. I didn't know what an Alpha was.And I sure as hell didn't know what the word mate was going to mean when it was connected to me. All I knew was that I had escaped one nightmare. But what if I had just jumped out of the frying pan and straight into the fire? Maybe I wasn't escaping anything. Maybe I was driving directly toward something much worse. And then there was Randy. I knew him. I knew how obsessed he could become when someone told him no.He wasn't going to simply let me walk away. Eventually, he was going to find me. And when he did, I had no idea what he would do.What I didn't know was that Randy wasn't going to be the only man searching for me. There were going to be others. Men who weren't human. Men who rode motorcycles, protected their pack, and lived by rules

I need to go 1
Chapter 1 Alice POV I had the worst hangover this morning. I didn't even want to open my eyes. My head was pounding, my stomach was turning, and I knew I had drunk way too much last night. Randy had won another race. Some jerk had challenged him for pink slips, thinking he could beat Randy and take his car. Well, my man had shown him exactly who he was dealing with. Randy won, and just like always, we celebrated. The clubhouse was packed last night. Randy had built a bar inside, something I had told him from the beginning was a terrible idea. “It’s going to bring unwanted pests inside,” I had warned him. He had just laughed. “Alice, honey, it’s okay. All these clubhouse girls want is to have fun. They’ll leave after they’ve had their fun. Don’t be jealous. You’re the only one I want. I don’t want any of those girls.” But I knew he was lying. I had known for a long time that Randy had cheated on me with several of the clubhouse girls. I called them the clubhouse whores, and they knew exactly what I thought of them. Honestly, I didn't care anymore if they knew. Slowly, I opened my eyes and turned my head. Randy was still asleep beside me. I needed to get home, shower, and get ready for work. That was if I still had a job. After the amount of alcohol I had consumed last night, I had a feeling I wouldn't make it in today. But I was going to try. I carefully climbed out of bed and grabbed my clothes, pulling them on as quietly as I could. “Where are you going, baby?” Randy mumbled. “Come back to bed.” I sighed. “I need to get home so I can shower and get to work. Someone has to make the money to keep your car running the right way.” That someone was me. I worked my butt off just to keep his car running like a dream. I bought the strongest engine parts, the best tires, and anything else I thought would give him an advantage on the track. It all added up. And Randy had never paid me back. Not once. The worst part was, I had never asked him to. He chuckled as he looked at me. “Honey, the car is fine. You don't need to buy anything else unless it breaks down. Just come back to bed.” I shook my head. “Randy, if I don't go into work, I could lose my job. I still have rent and food to pay for. I'll be back in a few hours. Get some rest. You're going to need it.” I leaned down and softly kissed him on the lips. Then I hurried out before I could change my mind. I knew Randy wouldn't stay in bed for long. He would probably get up and start working on his car the second I was gone. But I needed to get out of there. I needed to get home. And I needed to get to work. Randy POV That little b***h had to leave for work. Good. I had been using her for parts for my car for a long time. She had a good job, and as long as she kept buying what I needed, I didn't have a problem with her. Besides, my car was running perfectly right now. I kept winning. And I was going to keep winning. That's how good I was at racing. I waited until Alice was gone before climbing out of bed. I stayed at the clubhouse. This was my home. I had built it with my own hands. My house was in the front, and I had added the extra rooms so that when my buddies came over to party, they would have somewhere to sleep, or somewhere to have fun. The clubhouse girls were good for one thing. They came around, had their fun, and left. I didn't need anything more from them. I pulled on my clothes and ran a hand through my hair. I needed to check on a few things with my car. That was what mattered most to me. Women came and went, but my car was my real lady. She never talked back. She never complained. And she always did exactly what I wanted her to do. That's what I liked. I walked outside toward the garage and opened the door. Then I stopped. Emma was sitting on the hood of my car. I stared at her. The last time she had been on my car, Alice had dragged her off by her hair and kicked her out. And now she was back? She was either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid. I walked toward her. “Emma, what are you doing in my garage?” She slowly slid off the hood and walked toward me, running her finger down the front of my shirt. “Oh, this?” she said innocently. “I got locked in here and thought I would sit here and wait for you to come inside. That's all.” She smiled. “And I thought you could use a little... release. I didn't hear anything coming from your room last night.” I shook my head. This girl was something else. For a second, I actually believed she might have gotten locked in here. But apparently she had been paying attention to what was, or wasn't, happening in my bedroom. I smirked. “So, what kind of release are you going to give me? Just remember, I need to work on my car too, so let's make this fast.” Emma raised her eyebrows with a wicked smile. “Oh, I'll make it quick. Don't you worry.” I already knew exactly what she was after. And I knew she was good at getting what she wanted. I pulled her closer, deciding I would deal with the car later. Alice would be gone for hours. That gave me plenty of time to have some fun with Emma, Just look at those legs. They would look nicely wrapped around my waist, And those lips, damn those lips felt so good wrapped around my hard c**k, she was good at what she does,
