The War

*Lucas' POV*

We were sitting in the hospital room with Kat. When all of a sudden she said that there was a war coming. "Honey what do you mean a war is coming?" Ava asks her. She sighs and looks to me "While I was in my coma the moon goddess came to me and she is so beautiful. She told me that there is a war coming and that we..."  she grabbed my hand " I need to accept you and we need to come together and save the werewolf race." I look into her eyes and I see that she is telling the truth. 

"Love what else did she say?" I ask her she gives me a shy smile. "She told me some words of encouragement to help us win." she looks at everyone. "Where is the doctor I want to go back to my room." she ask and I got up to go get the doctor. He came in and checked her. "She is fine to go back to her room." he says and leaves. I started laughing at how excited Kat got. 

Everyone left so it was just me and my kitty Kat. "Can we go to your room instead of mine." She asks me. I looked at her in shock. I got really excited. "Yes of course we can love. We can do whatever you want." She smiled and it made my heart melt. 

We got back into my room and she went into the bathroom to talk a shower and I couldn't help but have this giant smile on my face. My mate is in my bathroom right now. Just thinking about my mate in my shower made my pants tightened I realize that I just got a b***r thinking about her. It has been thirty minutes since Kat has been in the shower. My mind couldn't help but wonder to what she said about there is an upcoming war.

I didn't notice when Kat came out of the bathroom until there was a hand waving in my face. "Are you alright Lucas?" she asked me in a small voice. I nodded my head "Yes love I am just thinking." She came around to sit behind me and started rubbing my shoulders. An involuntary moan escaped my lips. I turned to face her. "Tell me what is on your mind." I looked into her eyes and I didn't notice how they sparkled in the moon light. 

"Just worried about the war. When is going to happen? Why does it have to be us?" trying to voice my worries. She sighs and grabs my face "How about tonight we don't worry about it okay." I nodded my head and looked down at her body and that's when I noticed that she is only wearing my shirt, but it looks like a dress on her. "You know I think I prefer my clothes on you." I say to her and I know that my eyes darkened.
