13 As Michael had warned her, the theater in Sedona wasn’t much to write home about. Oh, it was clean, and the screens were a decent size, but Autumn knew it was the first time in her life she’d been in a movie theater that didn’t have stadium seating. Luckily, since it was a Tuesday night and she’d chosen a rom-com that had been out for a while, there were only a few other people in the auditorium, and nobody tall — or sporting an afro — had chosen to sit in front of them. Before the movie, they’d gone out to a brewpub, of all places, a spot that was tucked away on one of Sedona’s side streets and didn’t look all that prepossessing. But the beer was great, and they served awesome tamales brought in from a restaurant less than a mile away, and Autumn thought it was all just about perfect
