"You honestly think the Moon Goddess would give me a broken, pathetic Omega as a mate? You are a stain on my bloodline."

Nineteen-year-old Roxanne has spent her entire life as the punching bag of the Northern Ridge Pack. Malnourished, abused, and trapped with a silent wolf spirit, she prays her fated nineteen-year mate bond will be her salvation.

Instead, it is her living nightmare.

Alpha Kaelen—the pack's ruthless leader—looks at her with nothing but utter disgust. In front of the entire pack, he brutally rejects her, breaks her fated bond, and exiles her into the rogue-infested northern forest to die.

But Alpha Kaelen made a fatal mistake.

The agonizing pain of the rejection doesn't break Roxanne's spirit—it shatters the cage holding a terrifying secret. Roxanne isn't a weak Omega. Deep within her veins sleeps a dormant, ancient Lycan bloodline. And now, the monster is awake.

Left for dead in the dark forest, Roxanne vows to make everyone who laughed at her bleed. She doesn't want her fated mate anymore. She wants his crown. She wants his kingdom. And she will watch the Northern Ridge Pack burn to ashes to get it.

Episode one
THE ASHES OF THE OMEGA The rain in the Northern Ridge Pack did not just fall; it punished. It beat down on the cracked concrete outside the packhouse kitchen, slicking the stones with mud and grease. Roxanne knelt on the cold ground, her fingers raw and bleeding as she scrubbed the heavy iron pots from the Alpha’s private feast. She was nineteen today. In any other pack, nineteen meant a celebration. It meant finding your fated mate, stepping into your power, and running beneath the full moon. But for Roxanne, an Omega born with a fractured wolf spirit that remained stubbornly silent, it just meant another day of surviving Alpha Kaelen’s cruelty. "Move faster, useless," a harsh voice barked from above. Enforcer Jaxon stood under the dry awning, his arms crossed over his massive chest. He kicked a dirty copper pan across the wet flagstones, splashing muddy water right into Roxanne’s face. She didn't flinch. She kept her head bowed, her long, tangled dark hair falling like a curtain to hide the burning rage in her gray eyes. "The Alpha wants the packhouse cleared by midnight," Jaxon sneered, spitting near her boots. "He is hosting the Silver Moon delegation tomorrow. If there is a single speck of dirt on these floors, I will personally ensure you spend a week in the silver cells." "Yes, Enforcer," Roxanne whispered. Her voice was flat, hollowed out by years of submission. But inside her chest, something shifted. It was a strange, low thrumming sensation, like a heavy engine starting up deep underground. For the first time in her nineteen years, her skin felt too tight. A hot, prickling wave of electricity raced down her spine, making her muscles twitch. What is this? she thought, her heart hammering against her ribs. Suddenly, a powerful wave of scent cut through the smell of rain and stagnant mud. It was overwhelming—crisp winter pine, crushed ozone, and dark, burning embers. It hit Roxanne like a physical blow, forcing the air out of her lungs. A primal, invisible thread snapped tight around her soul, dragging her gaze toward the heavy oak doors of the packhouse. The doors swung open. Alpha Kaelen stepped out onto the veranda. He was breathtakingly beautiful and terrifying all at once. At twenty-four, Kaelen was already one of the most ruthless Alphas in the continent. His golden-brown hair was slicked back by the rain, and his amber eyes scanned the courtyard with cold authority. He wore a dark leather jacket that barely concealed the lethal, packed muscle of his frame. The moment Kaelen’s eyes landed on Roxanne, he stopped dead in his tracks. The amber in his eyes flared, turning into a deep, predatory gold. His chest heaved as he inhaled deeply, drawing her scent into his lungs. The air between them grew thick, vibrating with the undeniable, cosmic pull of the Moon Goddess. Mate. The word echoed in Roxanne’s mind, not from her own thoughts, but from a deep, ancient place. The silent wolf inside her had finally woken up, and it was screaming for the man standing on the porch. For a single, breathless second, a tiny spark of hope flared in Roxanne’s chest. Could the Moon Goddess be so merciful? If she was the Alpha’s fated mate, the a***e would stop. She would no longer be the pack’s punching bag. She would be Luna. Kaelen took three slow, deliberate steps down the stairs. The rain slid off his skin, steam rising faintly from his broad shoulders. He stopped just two feet away from her, towering over her kneeling form. Roxanne looked up, her lips parting. "Kaelen..." The spark of hope was brutally crushed the instant Kaelen’s face hardened. His lips curled into a sneer of utter disgust. The cosmic bond pulling them together seemed to offend him. He looked at her wet, muddy clothes, her bruised hands, and her thin, malnourished face as if she were a diseased rat. "Stand up," Kaelen commanded. The Alpha command forced Roxanne’s body to move against her will, pulling her to her feet. The courtyard went completely silent. Other pack members stopped what they were doing, gathering in the shadows to watch. Jaxon grinned wickedly, sensing the oncoming storm. Kaelen leaned in close, his voice a low, lethal whisper meant only for her. "You honestly think the Moon Goddess would give me a broken, pathetic Omega as a mate? A girl who cannot even shift? You are a stain on my bloodline, Roxanne." Roxanne’s heart shattered into a thousand jagged pieces. "Please," she whispered, hating how weak she sounded. "I, Alpha Kaelen of the Northern Ridge Pack," he spoke aloud, his booming voice echoing across the courtyard so everyone could hear, "hereby reject you, Roxanne, as my fated mate and future Luna. You are nothing to me. You are nothing to this pack." The rejection hit her like a physical blade through the chest. The invisible fated bond between their souls stretched, frayed, and then exploded into raw, agonizing pain. Roxanne fell to her knees, clutching her chest as a silent scream tore from her throat. The pain was blinding, burning through her veins like liquid silver. Around the courtyard, the pack members began to laugh and whisper. "An Omega trying to claim the Alpha?" Jaxon laughed. "Know your place, trash." Kaelen turned his back on her without a single trace of remorse. "Jaxon," he called out coldly. "She is a distraction. Throw her in the northern forest. If she survives the night among the rogues, she can live there. She is officially exiled from my borders." "With pleasure, Alpha," Jaxon said, stepping forward. Roxanne lay in the mud, the agonizing pain of the rejection slowly turning into something else. The blinding white heat in her chest wasn't dying down; it was changing colors. It was turning dark, heavy, and incredibly cold. Deep within the dark recesses of her soul, the silent wolf didn't cower. It grew. But it wasn't a standard grey wolf. It was massive, black as night, with eyes like twin blood moons. The rejection hadn't broken her spirit—it had shattered the cage that the pack’s suppression drugs had kept her in for years. She wasn't an Omega. She was something ancient. A Lycan bloodline, dormant for generations, had just roared to life. Jaxon reached down, grabbing Roxanne brutally by her hair to drag her away. "Get up, little bitch." Touch me again, and you die, a voice echoed. It wasn't Roxanne's voice. It was deep, echoing, and dripping with raw, terrifying power. Before Jaxon could react, Roxanne’s hand shot up. Her fingers locked around Jaxon’s thick wrist like a steel vice. Jaxon froze. He tried to pull his hand away, but he couldn't move an inch. The sheer physical strength coming from the thin girl was impossible. "What the..." Jaxon gasped, his face draining of color as he looked down at her. Roxanne raised her head. The submissive, broken girl was gone. Her eyes were no longer gray. They were a glowing, terrifying crimson red. The rain around her didn't seem to touch her anymore; it vaporized into steam the moment it got close to her skin. With a slight twist of her wrist, a loud SNAP echoed through the courtyard. Jaxon screamed in agony as his wrist bone shattered instantly. Roxanne stood up smoothly, releasing his broken arm and delivering a swift, brutal kick to his chest. The massive 250-pound enforcer flew backward through the air, crashing violently through the wooden veranda railings before landing unconscious in a heap of broken splinters. The laughter in the courtyard died instantly. Shocked gasps erupted from the crowd. Alpha Kaelen whipped around, his golden eyes wide with absolute disbelief. He looked at his broken enforcer, then at Roxanne, who stood tall in the pouring rain, her skin radiating a terrifying, dark pressure that made every werewolf in the vicinity drop to their knees involuntarily. The Alpha aura that Kaelen usually used to dominate everyone was completely swallowed up by her dark, suffocating shadow. "What are you?" Kaelen demanded, his voice shaking slightly as his inner wolf whimpered in fear of the girl he had just rejected. "You... you don't have a wolf!" Roxanne looked down at her hands, feeling the immense, dark Lycan power flowing effortlessly through her veins. She felt no more pain from the rejection. She felt only a cold, beautiful clarity. She looked up at Kaelen, a dark, dangerous smile touching her lips. "You are right, Kaelen," Roxanne said, her voice carrying a heavy, dual-layered echo that rattled the windows of the packhouse. "I do not have a wolf. I have a monster. And you just let it out." Kaelen growled, trying to fight past the crushing pressure to shift into his beast. "Enforcers! Attack her! Kill her!" Six elite warriors shifted into their massive wolf forms, snarling as they bared their fangs and lunged at her from all sides. Roxanne didn't even shift. She didn't need to. As the first grey wolf leaped at her throat, she stepped cleanly to the side, her movements a blur of superhuman speed. She grabbed the beast by its heavy scruff and slammed it headfirst into the stone ground, cracking the pavement. The second and third wolves lunged together. Roxanne swept her leg, throwing a wave of pressurized wind and mud that blinded them, before delivering two lightning-fast strikes that sent them crashing into the packhouse wall, knocking them out instantly. In less than sixty seconds, the pack’s elite guard lay groaning and broken in the dirt. Roxanne stood in the center of the destruction, completely untouched. She turned her glowing red eyes back to Alpha Kaelen, who was now backed against the remains of the veranda, his face pale with horror. He realized too late what he had thrown away. "You wanted me gone," Roxanne said softly, taking a step toward him. Kaelen actually flinched, taking a step back. "You don't have to throw me out. I am leaving this pathetic pack willingly." She stopped at the edge of the pack borders, the dark storm clouds swirling violently above her as if obeying her command. She looked back over her shoulder at the man who was supposed to be her fated protector. "Keep your borders safe, Alpha Kaelen," Roxanne warned, her crimson eyes flashing in the darkness. "Because when I return, I am not coming back as your mate. I am coming back to take your crown. I will watch this entire pack burn to ashes, and I will build my empire on top of them." With a sudden burst of speed, Roxanne leaped over the massive twenty-foot security wall, disappearing into the dark, f*******n northern forest, leaving a terrified Alpha and a broken pack behind her.
