Begin "Thea come on, faster will you?" my brother getting annoyed with me for being so slow. We're going to our grandparents' home because it's our vacation. I actually don't want to go 'cause my friends were here. Who am I going to hang out there? I'm not really close with my cousins 'cause it's either they are too young for me or they are boys. I have nobody who I can call my friend there. But what can I do? Still, I have to be with them because we're gonna celebrate Christmas and New year with our relatives. I hope it's gonna be fine and happy. "Cid look, why are you in a hurry? Are we going to surprise someone?" He laughed, "What? No. I'm just excited to see Xander and Drex". "Ughh. Yeah, you three are best friends " Cid was my older brother, he's with the same age with Xander and Drex that's why they get along well. They were always together whenever we are in a vacation. While me? I'm just there at home watching boring tv shows or sitting outside the house looking for an interesting thing to happen. When we went outside our house, mom and dad are already waiting in the car. "Are you excited honey?" my mom asked "You know I'll only get bored there mom" what can I expect from this vacation? We're going to the province where I don't even have a friend and have nothing to do the whole time. "Li'l sis, why don't you just play with us?" "WHAT?" stunned with my brother had just said "no way in hell I would play basketball Cid, and with you? Not ever." "Easy li'l sis, you're making me look bad" my brother with a very annoying face "Okay enough of that, let's get going now" "Yes dad" Cid and I said in chorus And with that, we had a fun but somewhat irritating travel because of Cid and his unending basketball talk. After 4 hours, we arrived at our grandparents' house and all our relatives are already there. They welcomed us and did some catching up. My Aunts and Uncles even praise Cid for his glow up. He actually had a glow up. He looked like a dancing bamboo before but now, his body grew and he changed his hair style. "Thea, you look even prettier" said my Auntie I always feel shy whenever someone was praising my look. They all said I'm pretty but I can't see it. "Thanks Auntie" I got these looks from my beautiful mother and a stunningly handsome father After the greetings, I went outside to have a stroll because I'm starting to feel dull. So I went my way. While walking, I've noticed so much changes everywhere. There are lots of houses now than before, less trees and green. And more importantly, a lot of new faces was here. And among those faces, I saw a man. Yes a man. I think he's in his early twenties. Reaching something in a tree while kids are surrounding him watching what he's doing. He look at my way making me so nervous at his sudden attention. He reached the ball in the tree so easily and gave it to the kids. I suddenly feel conscious of my looks because we only got here and I don't know whether my hair got messed up while in the car. After he gave the ball to the kids, he looked at me again and left. What was that? Who's that man? What did I feel just now? Oh my...
