Rose POV
Shane rolled his eyes at me. I could tell he was annoyed by my questions, but I didn't know much about him and needed to at least try to be happy by getting to know him.
"Ok," I started as I rolled my eyes to the ceiling, trying to think of a question really fast. "What's it like being the Alphas son?"
"Well," he pushed off from the table and stood up. "It's stressful to be honest. It's constantly training and learning. My school work basically doubled between my high school classes and studying pack history." He opened the fridge and grabbed a beer. He popped the top off and leaned on the counter.
"Is..." I paused for a second. Should I bring this up? We can't avoid it. "Is that why you were so mean when we were kids?" He dropped his smile and stared at the ground. Shame wash
