The atmosphere inside the room changed, as Rudra Verma spoke in a voice of declaration. "This is my company, Mr. Aahan Choudhry. And it's very much important for me to find the real traitor. So there will be a proper investigation, which have started from yesterday only. Until my team is not reporting me for the same, we can't take any decision. You might not have interest to fight for yourself, but there are people... I mean the company for you. Because when I said that my employees are my family, I meant it." Rudra replied in a firm voice, yet his voice held the assurance that Aahan needed at that moment. For the first time, Aahan felt like he was wanted in that office. He felt blessed and protected. Something made him trust on the old man standing in front of him. He would never let any injustice to occur. Aahan just nodded and moved out, waiting for the proper investigation to carry on. Now that he had full trust on the God, he considered Rudra Verma as an angel sent by God for him. While Ishita stood there, keenly observing her father's each and every actions. She was confused seeing him smiling, at the same time she was worried for Aahan too. Rudra noticed that her daughter had no plan of moving out. "What?" Rudra asked Ishita, who didn't move an inch from her place. "We have a deal to maintain, Mr. Verma." Ishita replied, rolling her eyes at her father's luxurious cabin. "I remember, princess." Rudra said, looking at Ishita in amusement. "Then how are you maintaining from your side? I need to prove Aahan as innocent." Ishita shouted, loosing her control. Thanks to the sound proof walls, nobody could listen what was happening inside. "From my side? Well, from my side the deal is to let you learn a few basics of business. So should we start?" Rudra asked, standing up from his chair. He pulled Ishita and made her sit on his chair. Ishita wanted to protest, but she really had no time. She needed proof for Aahan. "I really have no time of you speaking these baseless things. Can we make it fast? It's about Aahan's career." Ishita said in a worried tone. Aahan - the only name that could pull out all the emotions from Ishita, who was a pro in hiding her emotions. Aah... He could bring the best and worst out of her. While Rudra was observing her daughter from two days. Her behavior was totally changed. But the change was for good. And the reason behind her change had definitely that boy - Aahan. Life had taught Rudra so many things. And he knew what was happening to his daughter but he wanted to get confirmation before assuming anything. When it was about Ishita, Rudra Verma took every step being cautious. Because she was his only princess, the most priceless possession of him and also the last gift of his dead wife, whom he loves the most. "I am pleading you. Please, he is innocent. Someone is framing him..." Ishita was cut by Rudra. "And that someone is no more anonymous. I guess you know the name too." Rudra said, shocking Ishita. "Abhay Basu, isn't it?" He completed his sentence, confirming her doubt. So he knew. "I don't know why but he has problem with Aahan from the day one. He is just finding ways to insult him. I thought it was because he was upset over Aahan being a fresher to our company, but no. It was nothing like that. This time he crossed his limit. He tried to destroy his career." Ishita said in anger. "Anger! First lesson, princess. Never ever give your control to anger." Ishita looked at Rudra in confusion, who smiled and said, "Abhay Basu had problem with you. He is insecure because of your position in this company. But your silence had made him a little assured. You never became a threat into his way, and he kept showing his superiority. But then when you argued for Aahan, he was triggered. And all this was the outcome his jealousy." Ishita was too shocked to say anything. She could not think straight. Can someone really become so low for some mere jealousy? Well, who she was kidding? She was well aware of humans. They are the most weirdest creatures of earth, who need no enemies. Because they are enough to destroy their own civilization. Ishita fisted her hand. Anger rushed through her veins. "I will kill that Abhay Basu. If he has problem with me, he can be a man and face me from front. How dare he being Aahan into this?" "Stop there, young woman. Remember your first lesson? Control your anger." Rudra said, stopping Ishita on her way. "And let him destroy Aahan's career." Ishita snapped furiously. Rudra was taken aback by this side of her. She was violent. And he knew how to calm this angry tigress down. Aahan - if that name could bring the worst side of her, then he will use it to pull out the best version of her. "Then, by confronting him, you will save Aahan's career? Why do you think he used Aahan? Because by directly showing his anger on you, he won't get anything. So he is provoking you only." And as he had thought, Ishita sat on his chair again. He was amused seeing Aahan's effect on Ishita. For now, he took the chance and added, "Use your brain, and make him regret. That's the rule of business, play from behind and hurt your enemy." "How?" She asked as a child and Rudra smiled. How much he had desired to teach his daughter everything. But she always maintained distance away from him. "First... Find think the whole case again. Second... Mark the loophole. If Aahan is right, then his side of story won't match with the story that Abhay had framed. So compare both side stories and marked the loopholes, where things came out unmatched. Only then you will reach to truth." Rudra replied. Ishita nodded. He was definitely right. She had to think with a sane mind. Lies were too weak, there must be a loophole and she was determined to bring the truth out. She had to prove Aahan's innocence. And she will do it at any cost. To be continued...
