CHAPTER:- 18

2042 Words
The moonlight has its unique serenity, that is rare to found in someone, something or somewhere else. And Ishita was so fond of the moonlight. She loves everything about the moon. From its silvery appearance to shining surface, she admired everything with pure appreciation to its creator, whoever it is - God or maybe the energy named as God. She appreciated him and her for creating such magnificent celestial bodies. She thanked him for creating life in earth, from where she could witness thousand of stars twinkling in joy. Not only the moon and its light, Ishita loves the sun and it's ray. She even loves the trees, the birds, the fishes, the flowers, the open sky, the scattered clouds and the Beautiful creatures on earth. In short, she loves everything, that is related to nature. But towards the morning sun in winter and white moon in a full moon night, she was a little biased. She could probably ditch anything and anyone to get a glance of either of them - morning red sun in winter sky or glittery round moon in full moon night. But today in the night of June, there was no hope for a winter sun. Neither it was a full moon night. There were still two more days left to it. The moon was not fully round, but almost got its shape. So she can ignore its view though it is beautiful and soothing at the same time. But she had to shift her attention to something else. Aahan was in trouble. She had to do something. She can anyways enjoy the view of moon after two days. It must have been completed till then. If Aahan would reciprocate her feelings, maybe she would be complete too. Maybe they both will see the full moon together. Dreams she has! Aahan! Now a days she repeated his name in every line she said. He had become a habit of her. She had no idea who and why named him Aahan. Maybe his parents. She had nothing to do with it. She was just curious to know its meaning, though it didn't matter anymore. She could have just searched it's meaning in google, but she didn't. Or should we say, she couldn't. Because for her, 'Aahan' means peace. No matter whatever internet had to say or anyone have to define, she considered Aahan to be the lost peace of her life. Ishita tossed her phone around. It was her first time. She was never aware of these feelings. The restless never felt this much sweet to her. She was always a practical person, with a straight approach to life. If she wants something, she gives her best to get it as her own. Despite her best effort, sometimes she failed. Maybe someone else's best got better than her. Yes, she had learned to accept her failure and rise again with double will power. But her ways of coping up with failures were those secrets, that she never going to share with anyone. Howeve her life was a rule book and she never went out of it, until Aahan Choudhry was added to one page and he owned her book of life, changing all her rules and practicality towards life. She literally behaved as a teenage girl in love. Those occasional goofy smile, unusual blush, aren't they the sign of teenage? Why does she has to get them at the age of twenty three? Well, some questions had no answers. Because they are the product of love and out of logic. Finally, an hour passed and Ishita closed the living room window. She then went to bed, but sleep was far away from her eyes. Unable to do anything about it, she started to divert her mind. She arranged the pillows on bed. Well, it was another thing that she just scattered those arranged pillows. And noticing her useless effort, she became frustrated. She sat on the bed with a thud. She knew why she was not getting sleep. It was due to the ongoing feelings inside her. She had to find an answer to it. Whether she should continue with these growing feelings or it should be stopped forever. She knew that only Aahan could answer her, but he was not in a right state of mind. Then her mind went to Aahan's sad voice. She missed his cheerfulness. That genuine grin on his face, not this fake one. But what could she do for him? They have totally framed him in this conspiracy. But she will help Aahan, no matter she had to do whatever. She will find a way to prove his innocence. Suddenly something clicked in her mind. "We are not like the modern friends, our bond is made from heart, Ishita. Kamal and Ritik are my life and so am I to them. If I will tell how I was fired due to office politics, Kamal would use his power to such an extent that the company will face a huge loss. And Ritik was a mature guy, but when it comes to me, he is the most protective one. They have a life too. Before a month, they were always worried about me getting a job, and now when finally they are completely focused in their life, I don't want to trouble them. Because for me, they will declare a war against Vermas'. And I certainly don't want that. Because a war harms both the sides." Ishita recalled Aahan's answers. That particular answer had increased his respect in her eyes. But at that moment, a particular part has attracted her attention. "I don't want to trouble them. Because for me, they will declare a war against Vermas'." That line kept playing inside her mind in a repetive mode. "So Aahan has two friends - Kamal and Ritik. And they can declare a war against anyone, whoever will hurt their friends. Interesting." She smirked. She stood up with a newly found energy and moved towards her bookshelf. Pulling the laptop bag out, she opened its chain and there was her laptop, the thing she needed most. Ishita was a graduated computer engineer. She was too brilliant to her age. Skipping classes, she had completed her masters in computer engineering in the age of twenty. Then she went to Manchester business school and got a master degree in business administration, as insisted by her father. But her passion was always computer. The softwares were her favorite language. Being an introvert, she found her favorite pass time here, playing with different softwares, coding unique combinations. And this hidden self of hers was unknown to the world. The computer screen lightened up, as soon as she pressed the power button. The screen showed a beautiful couple holding a new born baby. She tressed the woman in a hospital gown - her mother. Even in the hospital gown she was glowing. Next to her, was Rudra Verma, Ishita's father. Nobody could imagine that it was the same cunning and arrogant industrialist - Rudra Verma. He was grinning as a college going boy in that photo. But she never witnessed him laughing this much freely. Maybe that was just a show off to win her mother's heart. Her mind reasoned. But his rude posture could be a facade too. Maybe he is really soft from inside. He is a good man. Her heart argued. A frustrated Ishita shut her mind and heart up. No, No... She had to do this. She had to... For Aahan. She knew what she was doing was unethical and illegal, but she couldn't take a chance. What more wrong would she do? What happened with Aahan is totally injustice and she will made sure to make it right by any means. Ishita loves healthy hacking. She had learned the basics and through time, she became a pro in it. But today for the first time she was going to use it for her benefit. She opened social media and created a random fake account. What should she name her ID? She decided to stay anonymous for now. "Kamal and Ritik!" She recalled and then searched both these names on the search bar. There were millions of options. "Do Indian parents lack name? Can't they choose something unique for their children!" She murmured before adding another word 'Bangalore' beside both these name. This time though the option reduced, still she was unable to recognize the actual person among those thousands of photos. "What could be their surname? No, Aahan had never mentioned it. But... Sometimes he called Kamal as KK. Yeah, KK." She grinned with the newly found information. It was that over a month, Aahan had become too close to her. One thing Ishita had noticed was, Aahan's love for his friends. His every conversation started with their name and ended with their name. Finally, Ishita put the name Kamal KK on the search bar. There were a few options but the first one was really considerable, as in the profile picture, three men were present, among which one was Aahan. She clicked on that profile. 'Kamal Kashyap', the ID had that name. She had heard this name somewhere. But she couldn't clearly remember. Chucking her thoughts, she stalked his profile and got his mail ID. Now she had two option. Either to hack Kamal's account or to send him something through an anonymous mail. She chose the later option, as she didn't want to interrupt his privacy. But that moment her eyes fell on his profile picture. As if her mind was possessed, her fingers immediately with random pattern took the curser to tagged friends. Ritik Dubey and Aahan Choudhry... She got the name. She clicked on his name, the ID was public. She was about to stalk his profile, when the situaton clicked in her mind. No, she had to be fast. She opened her phone and went to the record list. She chose her and Aahan's recent conversation and trimmed them according to her preference. "I have to pretend that I am fine. My new job is exciting because if I won't, then my friends will be sad. I can bear the pain, but not the sadness in their face." "They won't know ever." "We are not like the modern friends, our bond is made from heart, Ishita. Because a war harms both the sides." Then she went to her office group. She never used that gossip club called, office fun group. But today she had to. She clicked on the recent media and chose the recent video that was sent. It was Mr. Basu dragging Aahan to the conference room. Someone had filmed it. People and their obsession! She sighed. She trimmed and merged everything according to her preference and made a PDF profile out of it and mailed to Kamal from a random account with the subject, 'I can help you if you want to help your friend.' She clicked the send button and waited for the other side to respond. The clock clicked at 3. Nobody would be awoke at this late of night. She was an exception of course, hopeless in love! But something in her heart advised her to stay up and to wait for the mail. As if, listening to her prayer, the mail immediately lightened up. There the immediate notification popped up, 'You have recieved a new message.' She smiled. Now that she had got a support, she will show Mr. Abhay Basu, how it felt to frame anyone. She clicked on the recent mail section only to get shocked.
