Shopping was every woman’s paradise. The moment Iris stepped into the home goods store, her head instantly spun with excitement. Every item felt as though it were waving at her, beckoning her to take it home. “Is there already a sofa in the apartment? How about this one?” Iris asked, pointing at a large beige sectional. The material looked premium and expensive. “Or this one?” She continued while walking toward a Chesterfield sofa in the same color. “No.” Archer shook his head. Iris looked around, then pointed at a camel-colored mid-century modern sofa and another, half-circle-shaped one. But Archer shook his head again. “The sectional is better,” he decided. “Great!” They toured the entire home goods store. It was a large store offering all sorts of furniture in various qualities.
