I sighed and took a final check on the documents I had in my hand. I swung my neck, feeling slightly sore. I put my hand on the back of my head, sighed, and looked out of the large windows of the Black Industries floor.
The sky was dark, too dark to be just five o'clock.
I frowned and looked at the time on my phone, my eyes widening as I noticed it was already seven o'clock in the evening.
I looked around and noticed that I was completely alone in space. Probably the few people who were already working on-site had left.
I sighed again, gathered my things, and put them in my bag. I heard the sound of heels coming from one of the hallways, and I lifted my head to find Seira, Rowan's cousin, coming in her coat.
She had a cell phone in her hand and was noisily chewing gum.
