Venus Pov
I did my best to zone out the endless chatter of the halls on an early Monday. As soon as everyone got to class, the grogginess of a Monday would show. But for now, there wasn't a single person who didn't have a story from the weekend to tell.
I continued to make my way to my locker until I saw someone I wasn't in the mood to see standing there.
"Venus! I heard what happened Saturday, I'm so glad you're ok." Despite the sour look on my face, Harvey reached out and bear hugged me.
I refused to embrace him back, which only led to hi hugging me tighter and lifting me off of the ground. At my groan, he finally let go and set me on my feet.
Without another glance at him, I turned to my locker and grabbed the books I would need for the next class.
