Venus POV I kicked my back legs out at my attacker's chest. He almost killed me by taking me off guard, but now I was ready to fight back. I circled around, knowing that I couldn't let the dark grey wolf out of my sight again. I snarled at him hoping to get him to back off. Instead, he took my challenge. The wolf had surely come here for a fight. I couldn't detect any other scents, meaning that, luckily, he was alone. My wolf wasn't strong enough to fight a few strong males, but I could definitely take on one. He lunged at me, as I had dared him to make the first move. It was an easy attack for me to dodge and I wrestled him to the ground. It was hard to tell who made what movements next.
