As the rain falls I can still smell it, the fresh irony scent of blood. As I quiet my thoughts I can signal in the steps of where the creature is running. As I find the scent I take off running in the direction of the creature closing in, my heart begins to race faster and faster the closer I get the harder it pounds. Boom we both attack the creature at the same time pumbling it to the ground causing it to scream in terror as we tear the deer to pieces we leave the organs and other not so delightful parts to the betas and omegas eat what's left from them which is never much no wonder there always coming down to the office to see me about pains and unhealthy feelings. As I wipe my face of left over deer parts I clean up quickly heading to my office wheee I'll spend the rest of my day and night patching up the wounded and fixing the stupid kids crossing pack lines. They never learn I think to myself that line has been there for centuries to protect us from harm from the nomadics. Those blood sucking breathless no sleep walking beasts along with those shifting swags changing into us like there our kind how pitiful! who do they think they are pretending to be us well they try but we all have unique pack trade mark scents!!Those scents help us identify each other and help us find our imprinted mate. Which we look for tomorrow night at the inication ceremony! I'm terrified, my grandpa says the alpha will be my mate but I'm just a Luna.... He demands with fierce aggression in the growl. We knew this was serious! I quietly take a mental note.
