Rise Again

As I reached my room, agad kong hinubad ang aking damit at dumiretso sa bath tub. My body's so tired for all of the trainings I did for this day. My body felt nice as I got into the bath tub. Ang mabangong rosas na sabon ay nagpakalma din sa aking katawan. Nang matapos ako ay sinuot ko ang aking roba at humanap ng damit. When I'm fully dressed, I hopped in my bed and dozed off to sleep. Kinaumagahan, maaga akong nagising sa boses ni Gabe at Bumi. Natutulog yung tao, e. I got up from my bed and went to my bathroom. I did my morning routine and went to my dresser to pick a simple white shirt and shorts. Pagbukas ko pa lang ng aking pintuan ay ang nakangiting mukha ni Catalina ang bumungad sa 'kin. "Good morning, Daph!" Nakangiting bati nito sa 'kin. "Morning, Cat. Let's go downstairs and have our breakfast." "Yeah, sure! I hope Gabe cooked well this time. Ang pangit ng lasa nung niluto niya nakaraan, diba?" Nakangiwing tanong nito sakin sabay kawit ng kanyang braso sa braso ko. The typical clingy Catalina. "Indeed." "Aw! What the hell was that for?!" Nakangiwing reklamo ni Gabe sa kin sabay hawak sa kanyang tiyan. I smirked at him. "Too slow, monkey." At agad akong dinumog ng mga kupal kong kaibigan. "Daphne! Why did you do that? I almost got a heart attack!" Reklamo ni Red. Ang OA naman nito. Palibhasa takot kay Papa. "You are the worst, Helliona. Don't do that ever again." Matalim akong tinapunan ng tingin ni Duane pero hindi ko 'yun pinansin. I smirked at them as I went to my chair. "Good morning, ate." Bati sakin ni Heather, my sister. Heather's just 17, turning 18 next year. She has a beautiful pair of deep blue eyes, thin lips, wavy brown hair, and thick long lashes and brows. My sister's indeed a heather. This villa is so big. A very luxurious house. This villa was built since we were just young. Papa Alejandro gave us the care that we need eventhough we are not his real children. Nobumi, Gabe, Duane, Catalina, and Redara are also adopted by Papa. Since then, all of us are really close. No one can separate us. Sa villa na 'to, tig-iisang kwarto kami. Pero ang kwarto naming mga babae ay na sa fourth floor at ang boys naman ay na sa third floor, including Papa's. I took a glance at Redara who's sitting in front of me. Redara Muñoz is a very beautiful woman. By just looking at her angelic face, I'm sure as hell you'll fall for her. She has this beautiful black eyes that shines, luscious lips, dark hair, pointed nose, and a curvy body that a boy would find in a girl. Red's a complete package. Her personality is not boring, she'll make you laugh when you are sad, understands you well, and doesn't leave your side. Sometimes she can be annoying but trust me, behind that joyful look of hers, hides a dark personality. "Daphne, let's eat. Papa just arrived." Catalina said as she pulled my hair. Then there's Catalina Jimenez. A clingy yet dangerous woman. Catalina's so sweet that she'll bite your arm kung nanggigigil sa 'yo. She has this beautiful pair of green eyes that you'll forever stare at. A straight honey blonde hair, a plump lips, pointed nose, an obvious cheek bone, thick long lashes and brows, and a very alluring body. She's always this happy go lucky girl but I'll warn you, she can be as deadly as the saw-scaled viper snake. Joking. I got back from my senses when I heard Papa's monotone voice. "Morning, children. Enjoy your breakfast and start your traning for today." Ani ni Papa sabay kuha ng kanyang kutsara at tinidor. And that's our cue to start eating our food in front of us. Habang kumakain, walang nag-iingay. Tanging tunog ng mga plato, kutsara at tinidor lang ang maririnig. We don't really know what's the reason why we're all scared of Papa Alejandro. Maybe it's his presence that will sent your body into chills. Papa has this dark presence that you'll immediately look away when you stare at him. But we all know, deep inside, Papa loves us so much and we love him too. He gave us a reason to continue our life. Bata pa lang kami, he trained us very well. He taught us how to fight alone, how to survive, and how to live in this cruel world. When I'm done eating, I went to Papa and kissed his cheeks. "I'll get going, Papa. See you later." "Take care, honey." Ani ni Papa sabay gulo ng aking buhok. Agad akong pumunta sa aking kwarto para pumalit ng damit. I'm planning to do a quick jogging first kaya niyaya ko si Red. I picked my black sports bra, black leggings, and rubber shoes. I tied my hair in to a messy bun and picked my water bottle. When I'm done, I look at myself at the mirror. I can tell that Heather and I are slightly different. She has this deep blue eyes while I have this pair of brown eyes. I do have a nice body. Sakto lang. We have the same hair and lips. But our personality's different from each other. "Hey Daph, tara na." I was busy looking at myself when I heard Red's voice. "Yeah wait a minute." Sabi ko habang kinukuha ang earphones ko at cellphone.
