The Five-Star Mansion
Everyone is seated calmly as they all watch Max sipping the wine on a stool beside him with his legs crossed.
"What do you want?" Sasha asked.
Max stared at her with contempt, but still managed to bring out his devilish smile. "You didn't kill him. Did you?" Max answered the question with a question.
Sasha, and Kelvin looked at Logan. Logan dipped his hands in his pocket as he brought out his phone, he dialled a number, and placed the phone on his ear.
Ivy's Apartment
Empty plates lied on the table, and everyone was looking satisfied.
"Waw...it has been a while since I have eaten something this good" Alisander confessed.
Ashley rested her body on the table getting closer to Alisander. "I prepared it" She whispered.
"You do?" Alisander asked.
"Yes" She replied, silently nodding her head.
Ethan watched, crossing his arms, and shaking his head. "You did just what Ash?" Ethan asked.
"Don't call me Ash! Eth!" Ashley exclaimed.
"Tch. Don't you see how romantic my short form name is?" Ethan felt proud, and Alisander placed his hand on his forehead. Their conversation was discontinued by Ivy's phone ringing.
Ivy looked at her phone. "I think I have to pick this up" She said, excusing herself from the table.
"If she had to excuse herself to pick up, that means she gets a call like that everytime something bad happens." Ashley explained.
"Who asked you?" Ethan asked with his arms still tucked into each other. Ashley gestured to give him a blow, and Ethan mimicked her.
"Why don't you show us the city?" Alisander asked them to stop their childish behaviour.
"Oh great! great! Let me go inside to prepare" Ashley said running inside to change, then she halted her steps. "Don't think it is for free, I'm charging a hundred bucks from both of you" She notified them.
"Tch, then sit, I'm not going" Ethan bluntly turned down.
Alisander stared at Ethan with friendly hatred, as he took out 200$ from his pocket, and waved it towards Ashley.
"Take" he said.
"I was just kidding" She smiled, but upon turning to Ethan she scoof running to her room. She bumped into Ivy as she ran.
"What's with the commotion?" Ivy asked as she paved the way for Ashley who would bump into her if she had not moved.
"I'm a tourist guide now!" Ashley replied.
"I'll be off to TFS!" Ivy said enough for Ashley to hear.
"Okay Mom!" Ashley replied.
Ivy came to the dining room and met Ethan, and Alisander packing the plates. "I have warned this girl about packing the plates immediately after eating" She talked to herself.
"Don't pick on her please" Alisander spoke to Ivy's mind.
Ivy looked at Alisander, and Alisander returned the gaze.
"Now, I agree with you that this mind talk is not really okay" Ivy concluded, and she left their presence. "I'm going out, Ashley will take care of you guys until I'm back" Ivy said and walked out of the house.
Ashley came out of her room dressed in casual wear of a light top, a Jeans trouser, and a jeans jacket to cover her arms. "Okay, I'm ready." She said Ethan and Alisander turned around to look at Ashley. "How do I look?" Ashley asked, looking at Alisander.
"You look like --"
"I didn't ask you Ethan" Ashley cut him off frowning her face, and turned to Alisander.
"uhnn?" She hummed, waving her hands from head to toe asking Alisander to check her out.
"I have never seen a girl shooting shots before" Ethan said while he shaked his head, and walked away.
"You look great" Alisander commended.
"Thanks" Ashley replied. She took a few steps. "Should we?" She waved her two hands pointing at the door, and they all exited the house.
The door to the Five-Star Mansion opened up, and Ivy walked in.
"You're late. What if I didn't call you?" Logan asked.
"I was busy, and moreover my ne--" She was about to complete her statement when she saw Max. Immediately, she remembered the words of her brother.
---------------------------------------------------
"Please, with the blood of our family in your hands, please, don't let them take my son. Help my son to escape their every plan, my son did nothing... Please, save him" Her brother begged. He was on the floor in a burning house holding on to Ivy's leg, and Ivy looked down on him.
---------------------------------------------------
"Hey! Traitor" Max greeted Ivy putting a smile on his face.
Ivy didn't answer him, then she walked over to a seat, and sat down beside Sasha. "What's the meeting for?" She smiled.
"You didn't kill him. did you?" Max asked.
"What are you talking about?" Ivy countered.
"The boy... Hagar's son. you killed him right?" Max asked again.
"I don't know if he is dead, I only killed his parents, that's my brother, someone else chased after him, but I'm sure he will not survive in the dark forest" Ivy explained looking sternly at Max.
"You are not sure?" Max questioned as he stood up. "You-are-not-sure" He said again, nodding his head.
He halted and stared at one of them one after the other.
"Okay. Let's believe he is dead. But! since the past few long years, I have lived in peace, and now, his presence lingers in my heart." He said and turned to Ivy. "When I find him, I will kill him, and come for all of you" He threatened.
Max took the glass cup from the table, and drank the remains of the wine in it.
"I hope we'd be good friends forever" He said, dropping the cup on the table, turned around, and exited the door - they all stared at him as he left, and Logan sighed.
After he had closed the door behind him, Kelvin said, "we would have ended him right here"
Sasha looked at him.
"Nah, if we do that, we'd be jumping from frypan to fire" Sasha said.
"f**k" Ivy whispered putting her thumb in her mouth.
Pack Rio Combo Planet.
A girl was busy mopping the floor, she stopped mopping, and used her arm to wipe out the sweat on her face then she heard a name.
"Davina!" A woman shouted.
After the call, she looked as if she was allergic to her name. "Why is this old woman calling me again?" She talked to herself.
"Am I the old woman you are talking about!" The woman shouted.
"Damn mind talks!" Davina whispered.
"I can still hear you! Come over here now!" The woman shouted again.
"Okay Madam Sanita!" She answered.
She hurriedly completed mopping the floor, and ran through the corridor, and stood in front of the third room by the left. She sighed and knocked.
"Come in" Madam Sanita ordered, and Davina opened up.
Sanita was on her phone playing games, and her daughter, Coral, was sitting at the edge of the bed in the room.
"Help me get something from the market" Sanita said, handing over to Davina a paper. Davina opened it up, and looked at Coral, then at Sanita.
"Doesn't she have legs?" Davina asked, staring at Coral.
"Who are you to question who I want to send?" Sanita asked.
"You haven't shifted, so you are the least in the pack. You deserve to be an errand girl" Coral supported her mother's claim.
"Humans are better than you" She thought, turning around to leave the room. "I know you can hear me, when I shift, prepare to die" She threatened and closed the door behind her, and they both laughed at her. "Shift all you want!" They shouted enough for her to hear.
Central Park
"This is the central park. It is the most beautiful in the city, and my favourite, and it is also close to the market which is very close from here." Ashley explained stealing a glance to Alisander who was looking around, then she continued talking. Ethan fixed his eyes at the big statue in the middle of the large spaced fountain.
"Who is this?" Ethan pointed at the statue as he interrupted Ashley's speech.
Ashley turned around to look at what Ethan was talking about.
"That is-- that is--- nobody knows really. The adults that knew about it refused to talk about it. So we teenagers know nothing, even my Mom wouldn't tell me about it" Ashley answered.
Ethan walked slowly, still watching the statue closely until he bumped into Davina.
"Look where you're going, human" Davina spouted angrily. Ethan supported himself with the railings.
"Miss, you bumped into me, you should apologise" Ethan protested.
"You would have paved the way for me when you saw me coming!" Davina shouted and Ethan scoffed.
Ashley and Alisander walked over to them.
"What's the problem?" Alisander spoke with a very authoritative tone and Davina felt it.
"Why are you trying to use that on me?" Davina asked and Alisander was surprised.
"Because you are a white wolf, you think you can control me with your words?" She pestered the more as she walked over to Alisander.
Max was looking at the scene from afar. Ethan stood properly.
"Al, stop, don't say anything again" Ethan ordered.
"Who are you to tell him to stop?" Davina asked, turning back to Ethan.
"Hey young miss, just stop now, don't cause a scene here" Ethan told Davina.
"Who are you to tell me what to do?" Davina asked, squeezing her eyes a little bit. "You bumped into me, and you tell me to st--"
"Little lads, what's the commotion all about?" Max asked.
Everyone stared at him, and he stared at them, from Ashley, to Alisander, to Davina, and to Ethan. He stared at Ethan closely.
"Have we met before young man?" Max asked.
"No, we haven't" Ethan replied.
"Are you sure?" Max asked again.
"Yes, I'm sure" Ethan assured.
"You looked familiar though" Max said, and started walking his way.
"Don't quarrel little lads" He said walking away.
Suddenly, he stopped walking and turned around to look at Ethan. Then he returned to where Ethan was, and looked more intently with a suspecting stare at Ethan, and Ethan stared into Max's eyes.
