Chapter 1
On the TV a random dramatic movie that I had never seen before was playing. I watched, but I was barely paying attention to it; my mind was definitely somewhere else. I could not stop thinking about Lydia, who I was not able to see, because apparently mom thought that it was much more important to have a "much needed rest, because bags are starting to form in your eyes" than going to visit your best friend at the hospital.  ''Are you watching that?" Karen asked as she appeared next to me. I sighed and then I handed her the remote. "Nah, you can change it." When she took it she went through the channels until she stopped at a cooking show. "Oh yes, I love watching people mess up their dishes." she muttered before looking at me. "You okay?" "Yeah. I'm just worried about Lydia, that's all." ''She's still in the hospital?'' she asked with a worried look. I nodded. "Mom says that I should rest more before going to see her, so I guess I'll have to go tomorrow." ''Well, you do kinda look like shit.'' she pointed out, to which I gave her an annoying look and she smiled innocently in return. "But hey, but maybe Stiles can fill you out on how he is." ''Oh, trust me, he is.'' *** After I helped mom make dinner and we all ate, I went back up to my room while texting Stiles for an update about Lydia. When he replied with an 'Everything's fine so far' I felt relief wash over me as I jumped on my bed. Maybe mom was right, maybe I did need to sleep for a little bit. After Peter's attack on Lydia and finding out my biological dad's true identity I haven't been able to sleep as well. It's only been a few days, but they have felt like a freaking eternity! It was all too exhausting, but it felt like none of us had time to even think about sleeping, until now, maybe... just maybe. I felt myself drifting off rather quickly, but before I could fall into a deep slumber, I heard tapping on the window. I quickly sat on the bed and looked up. I was not surprised at all as I saw Scott there, waving at me with a smile on his bed. I rolled my eyes but could not contain my own smile as I walked over the window and opened it.   ''Hello there.'' I said as he climbed into the room. "Hey." he greeted back. "Were you heading to bed?" "Of course. I was definitely not falling asleep just now." I said. He scratched the back of his neck. "Sorry. Just wanted to check up on you. I know you're still worried about Lydia." "Yeah, but It's okay. Stiles already told me that she's fine, she's on good hands with him." I assured him. He gave me a questioning look. "Are we sure about th-" "No, not really," I cut him off. He chuckled. "But at least we have someone looking after her." "Yeah." "What about you, how are you?" I asked him, stepping closer to him. He shrugged. "I'm okay. I've been thinking about you." "Oh, stop." I rolled my eyes, and he laughed at my reaction. "No, but I really, I really wanted to see you." he also got closer as he spoke. I bit my lip when his arms slid around my waist. It was still a foreign feeling knowing that we could do these things now, but it also felt really nice. So much better than I had imagined. "So that thing about checking out on me was just an excuse to come and see me?" "Maybe." He said before joining his lips with mine. I cupped his cheeks with my hands as the kiss started heating up almost instantly. Our feet started moving and he guided me backwards, the back of my knees soon meeting the edge of the bed before we fell on it. We were so invested in each other that when the door opened we didn't even hear it, until Karen's voice filled the room. "Oh my God, what the hell are you guys doing?!" When I say that Scott flew to the other corner of the room, I mean he almost literally flew. "Karen, can't you knock?" I glared at her. "Um, excuse me, but this is my room, too." she pointed out. "I'm sorry if I didn't know that Scott's actually Spider-Man and that he climbed up all the way into this room just to suck faces with you." "Gosh, get out!" I almost screamed at her. "Fine, I just came here to get my charger." she said, walking to the side of her bed and unplugging the phone charger. "Believe me, I want nothing more than to unsee this." I heard mutter "Pigs" under her breath before she finally closed the door behind her. I turned back to Scott, whose face was bright red from the embarrassment. "Sorry about her." "It's fine." he said with a sigh. "I should go now, though, I wouldn't want anyone else to walk in. Besides, It's getting late." "Right." I stood up from the bed and accompanied him towards the window. "I'll see you tomorrow, then?" He smiled before pecking my lips. "Sure. I'll text you." "'Kay, goodnight." I said before he climbed out, making his way up to the roof and then jumping out of sight as if it were nothing. Sometimes I get surprised when I see him pulling off stunts like that, but then I remember that I'm dating a werewolf...
